Good product - action works smoothly and the clip on the end grabs a nail tightly. Winding handle is good. Overall good quality. Opening at the top for the powder is wide enough to use easily.

I was worried with how bright this was and wasn’t sure it would come off of matte paint. I only temporarily needed the chalk lines. It came of great. I did mix it with some baby powder to lighten it further just incase.

I needed a strong line for setting out some drains in the driveway. I didn't want to spend much, and this seemed good value while being from a brand I know.It's very sturdy and feels like it's built to last. I bought some bright chalk to use with it. Have to say it was a pleasure to use. Well worth the purchase.

I used this for making chalk lines on my garage roof prior to laying shingle roofing. This handy little tool did the businesses.I was pleased with the quality of the product though perhaps would have preferred a lighter colour of supplied powdered chalk( ie not red)

I thought it was only 10m at first, but I think I put too much chalk in which might have blocked it. The line is 30m long after I gave it a wee tug to get the blockage sorted. Easy to wind back in quickly too. Review edited from 1 star to 5.

I was led to believe that an item called a chalkline would come with chalk, but apparently not. Now I have to wait four more days for chalk. The fact that it doesn't come with chalk is neither here nor there. The problem is, that this is not made clear. I was ready to get working on my project straight away and needed a chalkline, instead, a wind up ball of string arrives - no use whatsoever! If it had been made clear that chalk had to be bought as an extra I would have done so without complaint. Very unclear/misleading advertising of a product.I gave it 1 star due to this very annoying description and also because I have no idea how well it works and won't have for another 4 days!

A refill for the trusty chalkline. Perfect tub that should last a long time as long as it doesn’t get accidentally burst all over the van.
