My initial review was critical; but the problems I had were my fault.This is pretty easy to use, goes on smooth, dries quickly.It is difficult to get a "noticeable" pearling effect on white paint with it though. Might have to line a white and a white pearl up next to each other to see the difference.My problem was: I Had to learn about the long CURING times of lacquer paints 48-72 hours. If you apply to a lacquer before it has fully cured, you're in for a bad...bad day if you are aiming at a perfect finish. Switched to "Acrylic" to speed things up a bit - 24 hour full cure times and dry to the touch in less than an hour (not that I recommend touching it at that point!).

It works well! I'm using this as a Top-Coat on a PG Gundam. It's a shiny clear with pearl like specs or glitter in it. It's hard to see in a picture, so I didn't post one here; but I recommend it.

The 4 stars could be my fault. My plan was to put this over white, and then clear over it....like a pearl tri coat. The difference I am guessing is that the 'pearl coat' in a tri coat has the mica chips suspended in a white base. This is more like a (and I hate to say it) glitter coat with a purplish hue. It does say "clear" right in the product's name....so having never tried it before I expected something closer to what I was used to.Now, for what is actually is, it went on easily, and covered evenly. The end result is like a very fine metallic flake that I imagine would go nicely over any base coat. I tested it over a sanded and preped white Nitrocellulose base. It turned out very well, but wasn't what I was looking for.

Maybe I was expecting too much from Tamiya? It coats OK, but without direct light there is no pearl or metal flake, now when the light hits it, it looks good, but otherwise, you can barely see it...

この商品は他にはなかなか無いパールが入ったクリア塗料♪ これさえあれば好きなカラーにパールの輝きを入れることが出来ます♪安物のラッカーのカラーにパールを入れるだけで高級感のあるカラーに大変身♪ 量は少ないですが、パールを入れるだけなのでちょっとで十分♪クリアをタップリ塗りたいならパールクリアの上から普通のクリアを塗ればいいわけです。最高の塗料でした！

Klarlack mit Metalliceffekt für Modellbaulackierungen.Der Lack lässt sich gut auftragen und reichte bei mir für 2 Autos im Maßstab 1:24.Kleiner Tipp: die Dose vor dem Lackieren in lauwarmen Wasser temperieren,dann wirddass Ergebnis glatter ;).Es muss beim lackieren nur aufgepasst werden dass man nur in dünnen Schichten lackiert da ansonstendie Farbe des Modells durch ein stark "glitzerndes" Silber überdeckt wird. (Zuviel Mettalic-Flakes an einer Stelle)Bin zufrieden mit dem Lack und kann ihn guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

もうちょいラメラメした感じになるかなと思ったが、そこまで...って感じ。メタリックカラーとの差別化がそんなにできてない気がする。粒子が細かくて、よく見ないとパールクリアーを吹いたのかよくわからない。自己満足で使う感じの代物かなと。
