James Marsden As Cyclops Action Figure with Light-up Optic Blasts and Slime Trapped Jean Gray Action Figure - X-men: the Movie Series 1

If you get this figure BE CAREFUL!!!! It does have a set of watch batteries to power the eyes. Now I didn't open mine wanting a MINT in PKG. figure. Problem with that...the batteries corroded pretty bad. I haven't attempted to replace them to see if it still works. My advice...heck with the MINT thing. It's not worth much anyway. Open it ASAP and check the batteries. You'll need a small screwdriver. Be prepared for acidic residue and corroded ends. This is WHY companies need to keep the BATTERIES SEPERATE. Let the purchaser put them in. By the company I'm NOT referring to Amazon or it's distribution teams. People would be upset if their figure came opened. Given the damage it can cause Toy Biz or now Hasbro needs to be wary of this.

My son is 7 and he loves it. Had to buy new batteries, which is fine but when I opened it up the batteries had corroded. Thought this might be a bad sign but it works great after putting the new batteries in. The addition of Jean in the green blob is fun for him and his 4 year old sister. They both have a great imagination, so watching them blast her out of the green blob is better than watching TV.

Cool action figure.. great size .

This Cyclops action figure is very well made. It bears an uncanny resemblance to the actor, and the accessories that come with it are also well built. My only gripe? How small the glasses are. Other than that, amazing quality and workmanship.

This nine is very detailed and awesome. It'd a must have for movie collectors such as myself. This is an entertaining figure to display along side the rest of the X-Men figures. The head sculpture could use work but in 2001 the staff making these characters from China was garbage. Toys today like Hot Toys are very accurate and life like. I would recommend this figure to any collector who is into collecting movie memorabilia. This pRoebuck is not super posable which does make it difficult to display accurately if recreating an actual scene from the movie such as I do with mine.
