Not fit for purpose
Should have read the reviews but I was needing this quickly. Absolute rubbish, the lead is 10mm too short to fit into the 825. I wasn't wanting to pay a lot in case the battery was not the only fault I have - the satnav doesn't work properly even when plugged in, but I would have at least liked it to fit! I might have well spent £6 on a piece of steak, it would have been more use as I could have least eaten it after trying to fit it into a satnav.Check your claims before selling.

Cable too short
This works in a TomTom 825 BUT the lead is just a few mms too short. This means that the videos on how to change it are not too good as the unit has to be disassembled more in order to get battery in and connected. If the supplier added just 3 or 4 mm to the cables it would be much easier and more like the original. The extra disassembly left me anxious over whether it would restart but it has. Phew!

Rubbish product and service
After wrestling with trying to fit the unit because the connecting cable is just too short I found that the battery would not charge. I have already reported this but have heard nothing. Not much good to say about the product or the service. The deliver time was also excessive. A waste of time and money.

Battery wires not placed in same location as TomTom battery unable to install battery in product, Not fit for use. £5 for battery and £9 for barttery replacement kit they are on to a good earner.Battery returned awaiting refund. Sent Tomtom off for replacement battery with other company.

Don't waste your money

Does not fit Go Live 820
Whilst the item was very quickly despatched and arrived on time it is no good to me. This battery does not fit the Go Live 820 as the battery lead is too short to reach the terminal on the circuit board even if the 'warranty void if label is removed' is taken off.

Long lasting and perfect fit
Great replacement, as good as the original! Long lasting as if new.
