Mind Fish Pole & Line Skipjack Tuna in Spring Water (Pack of 6)

So good, I’ll never buy another brand of tuna again! The company’s commitment to only sourcing from sustainable, small-scale fisherfolk in the Maldives is why I ordered their tuna, and the product is so good, I’ll never go back to another brand. Not only does this company support communities whose primary source of income is from fishing (a livelihood that is threatened by destructive commercial fishing operations) but also the traditional practice of pole and line fishing is the only way to guarantee that there is zero bycatch! No sharks, birds, coral, or other fish are hurt by this process. If you love tuna and the planet, this is the can to get.

My pup loves it as a meal topper, and like every large dog the Omegas in it are beneficial to his joint health.

I thought I would try this instead of my normal tuna purchase but I did not like the texture and the flavor was pretty flat. I did write the company and it was suggested that I put in a little olive oil for more flavor, not really what I wanted.

Tastes fine, but expensive

My 15 year old cat decided within the last year he doesn't like ANY of the prescription canned food my vet said he needs. He will eat the kibble, but it's not enough to keep him at a healthy weight. He got skinnier and skinnier as he would just stare at his bowl and look back at me like I was the worst for making him eat it. He lost a full pound, which doesn't sound like a lot, but he went from being lean with a little belly to visible hips and ribs. I decided to try an occasional can of tuna to help keep weight on him and to keep his appetite up. This brand came in an Imperfect Foods shipment I received and he LOVED it. Problem with IF is they don't consistently have the same items so I can't always get it through them. I tried a more expensive brand from Whole Foods that is also pole and line caught but he didn't really go for it like this brand. The old man needs to eat and seems happiest with this particular skipjack in springwater without salt. So be it!

I have bought this for several years and will always buy it. It is good tasting Tuna and has never disappointed me.
