Upon opening the box, there are A LOT of pieces which can seem daunting but its very easy to assemble.I have a LOT of shoes and have been wanting a shoe rack for a long time. I choose this one because of its ability to break down into smaller shoe racks. I use one in my closet that is 4 tiers high (shoes I don't wear as often) and set up another one at the front door that is 3 tiers high (a few pairs of everyday shoes), I use the top shelf to put my gym bag on. I still have 3 tiers that I have yet to assemble because I really have no use for them.This rack may not be best for someone with very large feet. I wear a women's size 7; my shoes fit nicely in the rack and do not hang over the edges.

I received this a few days ago, took about 20 minutes to put it together, pretty easy. I am using it to maximize the space I currently have. I was able to fit all of my shoes and decided to use the top for some of my purses. Overall pretty happy with it.
