I needed to tune up my A/C system in my vehicle, which meant either going to a shop or getting the tools I might need. This was on my list to do just that. Well, not this one in particular, but I was prepared to get the cheap-o set from HF instead but this one came up and I am happy it did. Everything seems well put together in the kit and as far as I can tell , it should function as intended. Based on the apparent build quality, I have no doubts it will perform better than what I was going to get previously. Now all I need is a vacuum pump! Certainly recommend checking out this kit instead of HF or wherever if you are the DIY type. Never know when a set of gauges like this will come in handy...

This unit is every bit the professional one I had in my old shop IMO...in fact thanks to all the fittings and whatnot included it might even be a little more functional. The build quality is right there with the tool truck brands. The gauge manifold is freaking luxurious compared to some of the units out there. LOL The value is outstanding as it's a fraction of the cost of the tool truck. Everything seals up nice and tight, no janky connections etcIf you are a home gamer, don't cheap out on the $30 units. Spend a few bucks more for this one and it will do more and last you a good long while. Offer to do neighbors and family recharges and pay the cost back. LOL Heck even if you're a shop that really doesn't do that kind of thing and just want one "to have" this is a good option.

This is an excellent A/C gauge set. I was very impressed with the quality of this set and it feels very solid and durable. I was looking at a set like this on one of the tool trucks and it was 3 times as much and did not feel this solid or come with a storage case. I compared the gauges with our R1234YF machine and it reads the same pressures. I really like the wing nut on the hoses so you can tighten them without getting a wrench out, the truck one did not have this feature. If you need a quality set and want to save some money then buy this set and you will be happy you did.
