Coller works great would buy again

Was pretty unhappy with a product that only lasted 90 days before it quit working. Amazon only warranties for 30 days. BUT Called PetSafe directly. On the phone they did a diagnostic, sent a text I could reply with a picture of proof of purchase. They are shipping a replacement - THIS is how customer service should work.THANKS PetSAfe

Been using pet safe and sport dog products for yrs. We have electric fence and four dogs! These work great I will continue to use. I had to contact pet safe company to check compatibility for my latest 8 lb dog that can just walk thru the big hole chicken wire fence between property. It works well. Came with extra batteries and is already on our pup!

Update 5/2/18I originally purchased this replacement collar for my female Golden Ret. in October 2015, and it is still working properly 2 1/2 years later. I made the mistake of trying an eBay version a few months ago to replace the old collar for my male Golden (because it was $20 cheaper). After a few days with the eBay collar, I started noticing the collar randomly beeped even when he was lying within feet of the transmitter. After inspecting the two collars side by side, I found that the eBay collar was Model IF-275, instead of Model PIF-275. In case your wondering, there is no Pet Safe Model IF-275, so this turned out to be another case of a real enough looking Chinese knock-off. (Ironically, when I first purchased this collar from Amazon, I was a little concerned it might not be genuine PetSafe.) Moral of the story is that I still highly recommend this collar from Amazon, and I really wish I would have listened to my own review the first time. Trying to save $20, cost me $100 for a worthless knock-off. Read on in my original review below for more specifics about this collar.Original Review (2016):This was the best price I could find anywhere - even quite a bit better than other Amazon listings, for a Petsafe replacement collar. I was a little concerned this might not be a genuine Petsafe collar, but this is the exact same collar I was trying to replace and it is working fine with my Petsafe Wireless fence. I have had the Petsafe wireless fence for over seven years now, and this was the first time I have had to replace a collar. The system works really well. The collar itself is pretty cheap, and I have replaced the red fabric collar (pictured) with more substantial collars for both my dogs. That said, I can't believe how well the receiver unit holds up, as my two retrievers get them wet & muddy constantly, but they still keep working. I do wish the batteries would last a little longer for the price, though.

While the collars work well to train dogs to underground fence, they are not as durable as they should be for the price. The plastic clips to fasten them break easily. Also, the dogs can remove the batteries from each other's collars! Need better locking device.

When one dog destroys another dogs fence collar it’s time to replace. I’ve found these tend to last about 4 years otherwise. Wish they weren’t as expensive

We live in the country but by a busy road. This collar keeps our dogs in the yard, outa roads and out of the pasture!

This product is wonderful. My son set it up for me and my dog hasn’t left the yard one time. I don’t worry now when he goes outside because I know he is safe within the boundaries set up by my Patsafe.
