It depends on your expectations. You can get wonderful, suitable for the opera house string curtains, but they cost. I am using these in my summerhouse. I have doubled them up and they are good if imperfect bug defence, and good privacy. It is the same as all string curtains - at night with the lights on they will look sheer, but if cut to the right length are not too bad about tangles (too long and this is a mess) and I run a comb through every now and again. These are probably not so good in high traffic or gusty ares, but terrific for my summerhouse! Fast delivery and easy installation.

Absolutely nothing to like about this product, it dose not stop bugs from coming in/out as they pleased, the product tangled easily, the gaps between them are too wide for any sort of insects prevention.-Honestly speaking I think the positive ratings for this product can easily be questionable.I should have returned mine.

These look beautiful, they help keep insects out and are very easy to trim to the right length (sharp scissors and a flick over the ends with a lighter). However, they snag on each other up and down the lengths of the strands so won't last more than one summer.

Very easy to put up and looks quite nice unfortunately it doesn't stop the flies getting in.The strands tend to lump together so it leaves big gaps making it obselete for its purpose.Back to the plastic fly swatter for me.

Great for the window at the front of the house - but I didn't want a net curtain. I cut the length once it was up with a pair of scissors - very easy!
