... this item works precisely as designed and expected!after reading the 1 star review and watching their vid, we purchased this item, being highly certain that, respectfully, the user erred and there was not a product issue, ... as expected, we found that there is nothing wrong with this item; it is highly functional and well designed, sewn, and assembled.respectfully, please consider disregarding the 1 star review. this reviewer, evidently, improperly fed the webbing thru the slide-lock end of the fastex buckle, or, it appears, more likely, from their vid, they inserted the buckle upside-down, thus fed the web through the slide-lock top side first, rather than the, correct, bottom side first...| specific qualities |> webbing - strong, yet loosely woven, to facilitate a flexible webbing, enabling leaving the device in place and closing of the car door window to maintain an airtight and waterproof seal.... ( i have als and need it while seated, as there is no grab handle above the door, in our vehicle )> fastex buckle - strong plastic and very effective in securely locking your chosen length, with the slide-lock end, yet, it is very easy to shorten or lengthen.... the buckle works just as it is designed to work.> sewing - excellent... a "box-x" (very strong sewing method) is sewn to the high load point, where the webbing meets together from the handle to the buckle.... and the free end is sewn over twice, to prevent it from sliding out of the slide-lock end.> user product testing - we looped it around a pullup bar, and it held ~300lbs dead weight, robustly, with zero slippage! 👍🏼| suggestion to seller | to avoid 1 star reviews, add a pic (or vid, even better) showing the proper way of looping the open web end through the slide-lock end of the fastex buckle.an excellent, 5 star item, and we are very pleased...Thank you, dëke

Mom mom is a paraplegic and while she can tutn and pivot, we struggle to get her into cars, especially passenger seats that are higher than the seat of her wheelchair. This has been a lifesaver for helping us get mom into cars while making her feel steady and secure while transferring. We recently used it while vacationing in Hawaii... So easy to take with you and hooks right into the handle inside above the door without damaging anything! Also we adjusted it to just the right length to fit the rental van's passenger seat!

I sent it to my mom, she was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Her motor skills are depleting. It is very hard to stand up by herself, especially getting out of the car. The VaygWay car standing aid for your vehicle is just awesome for anyone that is having trouble getting out of your car. My mom was so happy with it.

Its a handy handle to have around for someone that has difficulties getting in position in their car. For folks with reduced mobility, it has helped greatly. A few modifications made it easy to tuck away when not in use.

My 93 year old father has been having some trouble getting out of our car. So I purchased this to see if it would help. It does! It gives him the added security of holding onto something so he doesn't lose his balance. We now have 3 of them, one for each place he sits in our 2 cars!

Instead of using it to get out of truck we used it to help elderly get in. Just remember to tighten and We put it around head rest
