Good for adding more USB 3.0 ports
Needed the driver disk for installation in Windows 7, Windows 10 has native drivers, so no disk needed. Works very well to power two additional front panel USB 3.0 ports. I couldn't boot a USB drive from this card, had to use the motherboard ports, as I believe the drivers have to be loaded for it to allow access to the added ports. Otherwise, no problems. Fast transfers, much faster than USB 2.0. Using it in a HP Compaq Elite 8300 SFF, for which I had to order a power adapter cable; this card uses a Molex connector for power, and the PC had only SATA power connectors.

Great Upgrade
I have this unit installed in a HP Pavilion Elite 9340 with Win7. Installation was simple and the drivers on the CD were up to date. I have both a 2.0 and 3.0 device connected. Every device has worked great. You may get a pop up that you should connect this device to a 2.0 adapter but if you connect the ROHS power harness you won't get the pop up.So far, so good. Well worth the price.

This works okay..
The Item arrived ok. It works in my computer but the computer will not let me shut down from inside windows, I have to hold down the power button. I didn't have this problem until I installed this card. Despite this set back, the card works great.

Syba Drivers Would Not Install
I tried for many hours but could not get the Syba drivers to work with my computer. Maybe you will have better luck. I gave the card a try because it was sold for a very good price. Returned to Amazon without any trouble and bought a Star Tech 4 Port PCI Express which installed in minutes and runs flawlessly.

Great Card
I was a little concerned when I bought it because of the negative reviews on this site and others. But, it turns out this is a great little card. I needed it for its internal USB 3.0 connector block, because I need two 3.0 connectors and my motherboard only has one.I am running Windows 8.1 x64 on an Asus Maximus VI Formula motherboard.I plugged the card in and turned the computer on and the card was instantly recognized and the drivers loaded. I did not need to download drivers from anywhere. I did not need to load drivers off the CD that came with it. I did not need to configure anything. It just worked. All my USB devices are recognized and popup instantly after being inserted.I have not performed any performance tests but it feels fast. But, c'mon guys. Most of the time we are talking about little portable USB thumb drives, or a camera or something. I am not saying it is not fast, but if the card was not the fastest of the bunch, who cares. It is compatible, fast, and easy to use all for around $20.I recommend this card

Low Price for Decent Performance
When I first got this card I still did not have my power connector yet. I decided to plug it in and maybe at least play around with it with my USB 2.0 devices. I installed the driver the instruction sheet said to install and after turning on my PC the card did not work. So I guess without the 4 pin molex connection the card does not work at all rather than not properly like another reviewer stated. This is why I gave it 4/5 starts (in my opinion its a con). After I connected the power connection the card works fine and I get about double the performance. Definitely not an extreme upgrade, but faster but none the less. I have a i3 3.30 GHz chip and 8GB of RAM if anyone needs a reference.

USB 3.0 19 Pin Internal Header do not work properly!!! :(
The USB 3.0 PCI - Express 2.0 model SD-PEX 20139, is easy to install. The USB 3.0 ports are recognized immediately in a PC with GNU/Linux - distro openSuSE 13.2. The performance of USB 3.0 ports on the card is pretty good, transferring 6.7 GB on 01:44:44 min, but everything is entirely different in the USB ports associated with 19 Pin internal header, the same transfer of 6.7 GB, can reach 07:XX: XX min and in some tests a WD My Passport USB 3.0 external drive is disconnected leaving corrupt transferred files. all tests were made in two equal cards, maintaining the same scenarios, definitely I will return these devices, and go for another brand.

VERY easy to install and worked right out-of-the-box.
These negative reviews about the 4-pin power.... serious? If you minded having this as the power function of this card then you shouldn't have bought it. It's CLEARLY in the description and photos.I have an Asus P6T Deluxe V2 and the USB ports are all USB 2.0. I didn't want to have to get a whole new motherboard and having all my slots taken up by video cards and audio peripherals I didn't think I would be able to find something that would work. Little did I know this little PCIe card existed. I didn't even need the driver CD. The card installed with ease and recognized immediately in Windows 8. Works awesome and have had no failures.
