Great shelf
Sent promptly and was easy to put up. Did exactly what I wanted it to do

Needed a tiny shelf for my PC setup
Perfect. Installation only took a few minutes. Cutting the cable channel was just as easy.

Does The Job
Easy to fit and seems comfortable with light weight objects, however I won’t place anything heavy on it with out some sort of supports.

Ordered two shelves. One was in cellophane packaging and one was not. The one without cellophane has a 2 inch scratch on the top indicating that the shelf was a probably return and repackaged then sent out again to see if this would be acceptable. The shelves will be positioned so this may not be visible and I could do a slight repair. All in all the quality is poor, looks like they are thrown together and I am disappointed by these. I am sure these shelves won't last long. I guess you definitely get what you pay for. I will be looking elsewhere for other shelves. Do not buy if you are thinking of putting them in a prominent position.

On the ones I received the mounting bracket prongs are not symmetrical. If the mounting bracket is screwed to the wall perfectly horizontal the shelf will slope. I'll persevere but want to warn you to check yours before screwing it to the wall. Push the bracket into the shelf and check the gap between shelf and the bracket, mine is about 2mm wider at one end. I think the solution is to rest your spirit level on the prongs rather than the screw plate. Secure the plate with one screw, check the prongs are level then drill the other holes.

Mounting bracket too short
This shelf is similar to all the others of its type, except for the fact that the wall bracket is only about one third of the shelf length. It needs to be double the length it is in order to support the shelf securely.Any weight place on one end causes that end to drop down. Although rated 'up to 2Kg' I doubt it would support that on one end.My advice - look elsewhere.
