Does not fit correctly on 12-50 mm

A fraction of the price of a Canon hood and just as good.

On arrival it was tight rather than snug so I followed the advice of other reviews and gently filed the inside edges of the hood where it meets the lens. A little bit of filing then try for size. Maybe then a little more and try again. As a result this lens hood is a snug fit and isn't likely to fall off spontaneously. It's still easy to mount and dismount. It also easily mounts in reverse, for storage in minimal space.With my simple modification it's worth 5 stars! It's just right.

The Pixco LH55B lens hood (for Olympus 9-18mm & 12-50mm lenses) is low priced but not easy to fit without using excessive force. My way around this involved increasing the internal diameter slightly to make an easy fit.I used a plastic container (just smaller than the hole) wrapped around with fine grade sandpaper. This was carefully turned a few times so the sandpaper evenly removed a very small amount from the rim. Clear off the dust and test, repeat if necessary. Silicone based furniture polish on a cloth was used to wipe around the inner rim and wiped again to remove any residue - avoid polishing the inner hood surface!The hood now fits both lenses as normal and can be reversed for storage on the lens, albeit at 90 degrees to the operating position.

As received the lens hood looks good but it definitely needs work before it will fit the 12-50 lens comfortably. It is a very tight fit on the front of the lens and the bayonet attachment doesn't seem to be in the correct configuration.I'm not sure i can be bothered making it fit and may put this one down to experience. For someone with more patience it was inexpensive especially compared with the extortionately priced Olympus original.

Fits my Nikkor 70-300mm lens perfectly and does the job. I don't think anyone could tell it from the much more expensive Nikon item

Really poor quality it would not fit eithe of the two lenses that it stated it would fit another disappointment and a rubbish product

Llego tarde y me cobraron más de impuestos de aduanas que lo que pague por el producto. Encaja muy mal en el objetivo y es muy complicado de poner y que quede bien.

Deze Adverteerder geeft aan dat de lenshoed EW-53 o.a. zou passen op de Olympus 12-50mm lens, helaas past deze dus niet op een 12-50mm Olympus lens.

Non va assolutamente bene per l'obbietivo 9-18 mm zuiko .Non l'ho restituito perchè mi costava di più di quello che l'ho pagato.

Le pare-soleil ne s'adapte sur l'objectif (Olympus 12-50) qu'en forçant un peu (diamètre trop serré) et il est impossible de le tourner pour enclencher la baïonnette. Je l'ai gardé cependant vu son faible prix car il tient "de force", aidé par la présence d'un filtre ! J'avais déjà lu cette remarque sur des commentaires et je ne comprends pas que le fabricant continue à vendre le produit tel quel. Lamentable !

Diese Sonnenblende paßt definitiv nicht auf das M.Zuiko 9-18 mm! Lässt sich nicht anbringen.
