PortaPow3.3ft Data Block USB-A to USB-C Cable

I purchased this for my vehicle, so if passengers plugged in to charge their cells, it would not hijack the device connection (Android Auto) in my vehicle. Works like a charm.

This cable functions exactly as I had hoped it would.It appears to be well built and I have no fear that it will fail anytime soon.It is my dedicated travel cable when I'm at conventions.

Really like how this charges, way quicker than standard charging cables. This will be my 3rd one of this type. One at home, car and husband's work. I will be getting another one soon.

These work perfectly for peace of mind while traveling to protect your phone from malicious charge ports. I've used this cable on airplanes with American, Delta, Lufthansa, etc and it lets me use my phone for the whole flight and even charge up to 100% while watching movies/gaming. I don't think this allows super fast charging, but it definitely wasn't slow. The quality is decent and sturdy, but it's not premium or particularly robust. If you treat it reasonably it should last a very long time. I wont travel without this and I'll buy a replacement if this one dies. Already bought some for family members.

This cable works great and if it had arrived on time I could have used it during our last trip. It didn't.

I am a big fan of PortaPow products. This is my third from them. If you ever need to charge a device in public, like on a bus, at an airport, etc., this is a must-have accessory. High quality cable. Charging works great. Avoids security risks. Highly recommended.

I'm not sure mine came with a cable or just two data blockers in a small pouch. I cannot attest to data blockage but since the device doesn't have the data pins I don't see a scenario in which data isn't blocked. Anyway, as far as the performance is concerned, I have an Android Galaxy S9 that was down to 73% on the battery recently. I plugged in the Galaxy charger and noticed that it would take 39 minutes to charge it to full capacity. So I unplugged that connection and placed the PortaPow device in between the Galaxy cable and the electrical plug in. The charge time incdrease to 41 minutes. So not as fast but small difference when it comes to data security. I am glad that I bought the device. It is small and similar in size to the real small 16 or 32 GB thumb drives.

On trouve des ports USB presque partout, pour pouvoir recharger son téléphone en cas de besoin.Chez moi, il y en a dans les bus, les trains, et même les bancs du centre commercial, ou les PCs du travail.Mais rien ne permet de savoir ce que ces ports USB envoient comme données, ou extraient comme données, une fois mon smartphone branché.Avec ce câble, plus de souci: le courant passe, pas les données. Testé sur mon ordinateur personnel, le téléphone n'est pas visible - il manque les fils responsables de la transmission des données à l'intérieur du câble.Du coup, pas de charge rapide, mais c'est une perte acceptable pour sécuriser mes données personnelles.Un achat dont je suis très content.

Quite expensive for a charger cable, but it actually does the job better than others. A bit upset that near the connectors it seems susceptible of breakage. It does feel thick and robust all the way through, but near the plugs it can get a sharp bend and this is definitely not a good thing in the long term

Cavo molto flessibile nonostante la sezione dei conduttori sia generosa e consenta una ricarica molto rapida.Geniale l'assenza delle connessioni dati: si può connettere ovunque senza attivare sincronizzazioni automatiche e senza rischi di infezioni o furti di dati personali.Un vero peccato che non sia più disponibile in Italia come molti altri cavi di PortaPow.
