Nice but disappointing.
There is no doubt that the URC 1635 controller is easy to programme, more so that other All For One controller. But after that things for me went down hill. The user manual states: "Your One For All remote can operate up to three devices. By default the remote is pre-programmed to control your Sky Q box, but you can control some functions of your TV and Sound Bar or Audio Video Receiver". Note that this does not mean the pre-programmed Sky control plus three others, its three in total.Having found some shortcoming in my need for the controller, I posed a number of questions to All For One support. Along with practical set up of the controller, their response lead me to the following conclusions on the URC 1635:- Won’t allow full control of a common domestic installation, namely all four devices, Sky Q plus TV, Surround Sound and DVD player.- It can’t control a DVD player even at the expense of dropping control of the sound bar / surround sound.- Whist a surround sound system can be substituted for a TV sound bar, the volume buttons either control TV OR the Surround Sound system when on. You cannot select which.-Whilst it can switch on/off the TV and Sky Q, it cannot perform that function for the third device, there being no way to select that item for switching.Whilst the URC 1635 is described as a ".......Sky Q universal replacement remote.........", don't be mislead in thinking it anywhere matches the "Universal" functionality of other All For One controller, several of which have served me well. With this in mind, and recognising the above failing meant it fell well short of my requirements, I searched through their other offering and found at a price even cheaper that the URC 1635, the “One For All 1280 Contour Universal 8-in-1 Remote Control Amplifier”. I’ve successfully manually programmed it to control all four devices, along with a fifth, my Kodi box.Yes the 1280 needs manually setting up but then its far more flexible e.g. when controlling the DVD player I can have the volume buttons programmed to control the TV volume. I also recognise it does not have buttons matching the Sky Q controller e.g. there is no "Home" button, so I've used the "Menu" button for that function.Hope that's helpful.

Volume control does not work
Original lost, so sent off for the described replacement. It arrived next day, once batteries were in was able to turn television on ~ and you can alter the programmes with it. The sound/volume control button/s do not work ~ fortunately I have a rather ancient remote control thing ~ that enables me to control the volume/sound, if I hadn't had that I'd have been pretty annoyed, as for (about) £15 you'd have thought the volume control might have worked. It doesn't have the fancy additions as the original Q box thing did ~ I can't talk at it ~ not that I want to ~ but you can if you understand what the result might be. I don't. Original if lost and button on front of Sky box is pressed its supposed to squeak ~ it does ~ but is still impossible to find.

Sky Remote
Great device for a simple set up using a SKY q box or in my case the mini add on. It works the same as the sky remote but allows control of 3 devices . I am controlling the TV , Sky box , amplifier volume and all the on offs. The only slight problem is having to remember to hold the on off button for about 3 secs as it's slow to transmit all the commands and does it sequentially.

Simplicity
So pleased with this. It combines our three remotes into one. You can turn on and off the TV and the sky box which saves having to find multiple remotes. It controls the sound from our soundbar but unfortunately you have to physically turn on the sound bar as there is no control for turning this on and off (the only thing that is disappointing) other than this the remote works well. You have to make sure you are pointing at the device you intend to use so nothing can be blocking it as it is not Bluetooth like the original sky remotes. It's a nice shape and design and easy to use. Simple instructions for setting this up and has all the codes we needed for our devices to be connected to it. Very useful.

Brilliant replacement
I bought this remote after my puppy had to go our original sky Q remote I didn't want to spend nearly £30 on a replacement as I thought that was quite pricey for a TV remote I found this one it works great looks very similar to the sky Q remote and it functions this exact same way for the price I am very happy with it

Useful as a second Sky Q remote
This remote control can be used as a second controller for the SKY Q box. As this works via infrared it does not interfere with the original Bluetooth remote. The new remote was set up to control the SKY box, Samsung TV and Samsung sound bar in 15 minutes, all about 2 years old. Strongly recommend this remote as it allows the conveniece of having 2 operational in one room and it works well.

Better than the non voice Sky remote
Well laid out, ability to go to News programs. Far better than the early sky q remotes but the latest sky remote which enables voice control probably is an even better remote.
