Amber is the way forward!
These are actually my second pair of Gunnars after I bought the Gunnar Scope earlier on for gaming. The reason I bought this second pair was solely due to the fact that wearing glasses with a wide yellow lens in an office environment made you look too Ali-G.Before I bought my first pair I was fairly sceptical everything would work as it states but was nethertheless very excited about getting to try them. From first use out-of-the-box you'll notice the yellow tint when you look around, and it won't be what you are used to. The first thing I could notice was when I went to work later that morning. I work on an IT Service Desk 9:30-18:00 and using call logging systems and email are much easier due to the ease of reading these glasses give you.The lenses are very well made, (although get greasy and smudged a little easily) and are just about the right magnification for your monitor. The yellow tint is not very noticeable when looking at a screen.. yet the colours stand out and most noticeably reading accross text on the screen is ten times easier.Similar to how Dyslexics often use yellow or orange coloured paper for documents, yellow is much easier on the eyes and reduces the 'flickering' you get around text.I actually had my entire desk try them on one-by-one and pretty much everyone noticed the screen being clearer whilst three people were already set to buy their own. When I got home later and got to try it with gaming again I noticed several things straight away. The contrast is much stronger with these glasses and this gives you somewhat a benefit in first-person-shooters where far-away targets are much easier to see, as well as the light/dark colours are much more prominent. I played League of Legends for a while the first night and it felt like the graphics had improved significantly.I could also be wrong on this, but I have always been an Insomniac and had trouble sleeping but I've felt a lot more at ease recently.. unsure if wearing these glasses daily has helped but it certainly feels like it.Usually I would have felt tired and fatigued towards the end of my work shift but I was still feeling fine that afternoon gaming. I can definitely say it takes a while for you to feel the full effects, as this is now my third week using them so stick with them if you are unsure at first. I was not used to wearing glasses at all so at first I wasn't too sure if they were helping with eye-strain.Some of the other features Gunnar Optics promise, such as preventing dry eyes are much less noticable and to be honest depends on your environment, as air-conditioning for example can also cause this. At home I've noticed this a bit more than at work but I believe it does have a little affect.. so so far everything I have seen is promised and now I fully endorse these glasses. With the Gunnar Anime style glasses the frame is comfortable and fits nicely. They appear to be quite flexible so I can see them fitting several faces and they do look stylish. The yellow tint doesn't look stupid as some people have feared, as it looks similar to prescription lenses. (also a note - gunnars are prescription compatible if you wear glasses at the moment on their website)Unfortunately there was a problem with the frame when I got these, where one of the lenses was slightly popped out but after a little play around these are back in and are now fine. They are sturdy in the frame and haven't come out since.Overall I would seriously recommend this product to anyone gaming, using the PC at work or for those who have difficulty reading when on the computer. There are some reviews that say they feel flimsy and whilst they are very light.. with some fault testing this is not the case. They are meant to last, and as long as you don't go using them as a tinderbox or feeding them to your cat, they won't break out of the blue.

Worth the money, increase comfort at work when using a computer, excellent build quality.
Hi quality both frame and lens. Efficient to rest the eyes and get a better sleep - the difference is noticeable after a week or two. I would recommend this to anyone who spends a large part of the day in front of a flat screen.I chose to buy gunnars and not cheaper models, because these are real optical glasses which are made to be worn the whole day. There are cheap plastic glasses on the market, but I suspect they would distort the vision and be only comfortable to watch TV or computer games for a few hours, not for an office worker who spends the whole day in front of a computer.

A must have if you even tired and headachy using computer screens
Amazing. Used for just two days and i feel less tired, no headaches and much more comfortable working in front of screens and even just watching TV. Great buy.

I went to my optometrist and verified that he liked this particular brand
After working three straight 16 hour days in front of a computer where I wanted to rip my eyes out, I thought I would see if these would help. I went to my optometrist and verified that he liked this particular brand, and I tried them on to make sure they actually fit. I do have a small head (I like to believe it's still proportionate to the rest of my body), so it fit perfectly. I would have bought it then and there but it was easily $50 cheaper on Amazon. So I waited.I took these straight to the office after I received them and the difference was night and day. I didn't feel like I wanted to rip my eyes out, and I felt more energized and alert at hour 12. Without the glasses, I actually felt fatigued by the 8th hour, but with these glasses, I felt much better. I didn't realize the strain of starring at my computer was actually making me feel exhausted.I still try to maintain the 20-20-20 rule (look at an object 20 yards away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes), but sometimes I get so consumed in my work, these glasses are a great supplement.

Do your research, please
DISCLAIMER: DO NOT BUY THESE IF YOU HAVE A BIG HEADI've seen way too many people writing bad reviews because they failed to do their research. On the Gunnar website, these are listed as one of the two "narrow" pairs. Please do not bash these glasses for being small. Now that we've gotten that out of the way, onto my review. We'll start with the lenses. I recently got a new led-lit monitor, which are very bright by nature. I noticed some increased eye fatigue and decided it was time for some computer glasses. The lenses on these are barely noticeable until you actually take the glasses off. They will not make your screen look too yellow. I love the warm colors they provide. I'll even argue that screens look better while wearing them. I still experience some eye fatigue, but not nearly as much as before. They do exactly what I bought them to do.The frames. These are a NARROW fit, so don't buy this pair unless you have a smaller girl head, like me. I like the material these are made out of. It makes them feel quite sturdy...however, they are not as comfortable as I'd like them to be. This is where I took off one star. After a few minutes use of these glasses with a very comfortable gaming headset (Sennheiser PC 360), they become quite painful. This may just be due to me not being used to wearing glasses with a headset, which is why I only took off one star. I know this is a common gripe for people that wear glasses and game. Also, the nose pads were a bit irritating for me. I ended up switching these nose pads with the ones from my prescription glasses (which I only wear at night) and they feel a lot more comfortable now.Overall, I'd recommend these to anyone that wants Gunnars, but has a smaller head. I always struggle finding glasses that are not too big for me, and these actually fit pretty well.
