I was so skeptical because really who needs another noisy light up toy in their home? But the pretty, not obnoxiously colored play mat we used for my son just wasn't holding my daughters attention and she screamed for me to hold her constantly. I figured I could buy this and return if she didn't care for it, but ultimately, she loves it! My toddler loves it too! He turns it on and dances to the songs. It does play the same few songs on a loop, including the ever popular purple monkey in a bubble gum tree song, which can get pretty old pretty quick, but with both kids loving it, I can tolerate it.If you bought that beautiful play gym that matches your home decor and your kid just doesn't care about it, try this. It may give you some much needed time of the baby hanging out somewhere other than your arms.

This is the best mat it really helps baby with tummy time and exploring. I love this mat so much and all the songs are so catchy. 10/10 recommend

My 5 month old loves this it’s my most used item at this point and I love that I was able to use it at different stages my only fault with this item is a wish the mat was a bit longer as my bag is on the taller side

I have 5-month-old twin girls and I love using this mat to keep them both busy. Of course, the obvious way to use it is with them on their back and letting them kick but I noticed there is a single hook at the top of the mat to attach a toy to so I also use that part to encourage tummy time. My girls are rolling over now but I still try to get them on their bellies so the toy keeps them engaged. Bonus points because it is also easy to clean!
