Almost perfect!
Great size accuracy, look, and feel! Only issue is they ride up on your leg a little! Still a great product

This is a fantastic short with many uses.
This is a fantastic short, especially for the price. I have tried two other brands of "Vale Tudo" shorts, a Venum, and a Jaco. With the Venum, even though I ordered 3XL, it was so small (and didn't stretch much) that I was unable to even get into it. The Jaco was quite nice, but at a quite high price. With the great price of this Meister, I ordered both a 2XL (38-39) and XL (36-37) and they both fit quite well. They feel great. the larger one has a great "easy" fit, not tight, but snug enough that it feels good. The XL has a snug (not tight) fit and feels very good, especially the way it supports. The smaller one (XL) also provides a nice, though subtle, 'display" of my package (just the bulge shows, with the two layers of good weight material, there is no way this short is see thru).. The larger (2XL) isn't so prominent in the "package display" but still provides good support. I prefer wearing the smaller of the two.The legs, though short, are long enough that they don't look "too short". They are just enough longer than the Jaco (which I feel looks a bit too short to feel really comfortable wearing it in public). The leg length of this Meister is about the length of the Jockey "Midway", not quite as long as a "cycle" short, but close. Added 2017: --- I have noted that Jaco started making a longer version of their Vale Tudo, and it is longer than this Meister. There was a comment about the shorter Jaco version, saying that, it was so short that it made some feel a bit uncomfortable and that was the reason they introduced a longer version. That was exactly what I had experienced in not wanting to wear the Jaco short in public. This Meister being constructed, through out, of two layers of high quality material with a draw string waist, works very well as a swim trunk, gym short, training short (as its intended purpose). It's great for casual wear around the house and yard and it even works well as a boxer-brief undershort. It looks great, but feels even better.

Perfect shorts for BJJ
These Shorts are perfect for grappling, I was worried they would slide off during training but they held up better than expected!! I will definitely be buying more.

For the price these are pretty good! The fit can be tricky and I don't necessarily blame the manufactures simply because my weight can fluctuate thus the fit will vary. But again for the price I think the product is pretty good, durable, and most importantly doesn't show my junk with see through material like many thinner vale tudo type shorts sometimes do.My only major complaint would be the waist band. From the pictures I thought it would be more of a sewn in elastic band like the shock doctor type of compression shorts. These although similar have a drawstring waist. That feature actually could be helpful and is fairly common but in this regard it just doesn't work well. I notice the string gets tangle a lot WITHIN the sewn in waist and can be hard to next to impossible to straight out. It doesn't necessarily keep you from being able to tighten the shorts, but they bunch up a bit, get all twisted, and worst of all the string can get lost within the shorts awkwardly even if tied.I would honestly prefer a fitted one instead of adjustable and just work around that, or a better sewn in drawstring.

Economical price for a very functional pair of shorts
Most importantly, these have been great shorts for working out and yoga. They stay put, which is what I expected of MMA shorts. They are also moderately modest for guys, so I don't have a problem wearing them "out". The drawstring is monster but not quite long enough. I'll be swapping it out before it recedes back into the hem. Also, the graphic along the back hip is ungainly. It doesn't bother me too much but I can almost feel like it wants to come off. For the price, you can't beat these shorts. They do just what I need them to do.

Comfortable
Honestly didn’t give it 5 stars bc I haven’t had the shorts long enough to really test them but everything is great since I’ve used them

Perfect for training
For mma training this is awesome, great mobility and movement, and it leaves you just enough room to use a cup still. Just don’t pull on the strings too tight, it will tear the inside lining. They tend to hug your body anyways so most the time I don’t even tighten them.
