A fine rug the color is just off
Maybe it appeared diff on my phone cause it looked more of an overall honeydew light greenish color but it's just a beige rug w the funky colors in it. Still a nice rug, just let down that it didn't look the same irl.

Beautiful, perfect colors
I bought two of these rugs for a bedroom. The room has neutral colors and these rugs are perfect. They add a hit of color without being overwhelming. Nice thickness, very druable.

Poorly made
Very poor construction. Large clumps of thread wadded to both sides, ends sticking out. Lots of unraveling. As something of a craftsperson myself, I will not display this mess in my house. Also has a musty odor.Update - When I contacted the seller to request a return, I received an immediate response from the owner of the company offering a full refund or a replacement. He was horrified to hear of the condition of the rug I received. I am very impressed by the integrity of this seller and will gladly buy from Primitive Home Designs again.

BUY WITHOUT FEAR!
I was quite hesitant to order these rugs after reading that they were smelly, full of mildew, falling apart..... But since I also read positive reviews and reviews that the owner was cooperative, I gave it a shot. They are great! The color was right in--just as it appeared on my iPad. These are not Karastan rugs! They are sold by a company called PRIMITIVE Home Designs so expect a primitive loom. They are rag rugs. If for some reason i see some of the fibers raveling, I'll just put it in on my sewing machine on zig zag. So If you are looking for rustic rag rugs for an incredible price, order these with confidence. They far exceeded my expectations ---- but I was expecting primitive rag rugs and that's what I got. Love them and would order other things sold by this company without hesitation.

I like the rugs but they are two different colors
I like the rugs but they are two different colors. One is much lighter than the other so they look a bit odd in the kitchen. I realize they are handmade but they don't match at all. One is almost cream in color next to the honey color of the other. If they had matched I would have given them 5 stars

Ok rug
It is a bit darker than expected. For some reason, there was sand falling out of it. Irregular woven pattern, with a lot of imperfections. Good patio rug.

colorful and wonderful quality
I ordered two for areas in my family room that have some bare spot over my tile floor that can be cool in the winter time. These rugs were perfect for covering those spots, although I had to cut one in half lengthwise because I wanted it for a narrower area, I didn't realize how wide they are. It was a little difficult to cut because it is made of such a nice heavy duty quality. I love the bright, vibrant color and the great quality. A good buy!

Worst buying experience in fifteen years of buying from Amazon!
Unfortunately, my experience with these rag rugs was not as favorable as those enjoyed by most of the reviewers here. Similar to those described in Skyhawk's review, my rugs were VERY poorly constructed. I can understand why the vendor recommends that the rugs not be washed in a machine. My rugs had so many loose/unraveled pieces of fabric and clumps of thread that I believe they would fall apart if washed in a machine. This is most unfortunate since they could have used a good wash: they reeked of mildew, as though the rags used to make them had been stored in bundles in very damp conditions for months. I've purchased hand-made rag rugs for use in my homes over several decades, and never encountered any that looked or smelled like these. To date, I have received no correspondence from the seller aside from an email telling me to mail them back at MY expense. The overall cost for my order was $52.00, and my shipping costs (from the vendor, and then back) have totaled $23.00. I'm posting pictures that show some of the very poor workmanship. I order from Amazon quite a lot, and in over fifteen years of purchasing, this is, hands down, the worst experience I've had. I understand that receipt of low-quality defective merchandise is a risk that online buyers take, but to have to pay the postage for shipping it back is just more than I'm willing to put up with. To date, I've not received acknowledgement of receipt or refund from the vendor.
