Fits my 14kg dog. Handle on top is very useful for when dog jumps/falls in the water, to haul her back onto the paddleboard. It doesn’t seem to limit her ability to move, sit, or her desire to chase ducks. There’s a ring on top to attach a lead - useful on shore (but I’ve read it’s best not to attach when on the SUP as it increases chances of entanglement). Dog doesn’t like it but she’s always hated harnesses etc (usually responds by lying upside down with legs in air). Passers-by clearly think she looks cute judging by the comments we get!

Not tested in the water yet. Looks well made, comes up a little small so go for next size up if your dog is on the borderline of two sizes.

Perfect!Good fit. Had to swap sizes but that was hassle free. And once the right one arrived we were very happy.Looked good, was a nice easy to spot colour. Secured well. Was able to use the back clip loop for lead and seat belt clip. Handle was ideally situated and felt pretty sturdy made lifting our sprockodile back in to the canoe easy. Best of all gave us peace of mind when she decided to take a dip! Didn’t have to worry about her getting tired before we could paddle to her or her getting dunked under the side of the canoe or a boat. Water safety is super important and we wouldn’t be without her life jacket! Our dog absolutely loves the water and this little life jacket made days on the river wonderful.

The size guide is very accurate, I’m usually doubtful so I ordered a Medium and a Large (she did measure to be the L and the L she was) but with me thinking of having a medium sized border collie I thought the L would be too be big but I was in fact wrong it was the perfect size as the medium was too small, she loves it and it doesn’t seem to bother her any way, the handle on the top is very handy for me as I can pick her up when she decides to jump off my paddle board and wants back on, it’s made her a more confident swimmer and she now stays out in the water longer swimming. Apart from it being a great product she gets all the compliments off people walking by. Very good all around

This life jacket was just what we were looking at for our Pug. Our Pug likes the idea of water and generally paddles but doesn't like to get out of her depth and start swimming, although she's often tempted to follow our Labrador into the water. This life jacket has given her enough confidence and extra bouancy to start swimming, it just keeps her head out of the water that bit more, which is important for short-nosed breeds and those not really designed for swimming in terms of their overall shape. I was looking at more expensive jackets after looking at ones that were rated top online, but my husband found this one and it was a much more sensibly price and really did the trick. It fits well, with plenty for room for making it bigger, we went for a small, although the measurement guide showed that we could possibly use and XSmall, our Pug weighs 6.8kg, so she's a small Pug, the jacket fits well on the smallest setting and is secure on the smallest setting. I would recommend an Xsmall for a puppy, smaller breed such as a Shitzu or a breed that is skinner around the neck. Overall, I'm very impressed with this product for the price. If was taking my dogs out into deeper water on a boat, I would probably go for the more expensive jackets with boyancy ratings etc, but this is fine when you're reasonably close to the shore in calm water.

I purchased this for our holiday to Cornwall, our Springer Bella gets a bit worried when I go off swimming and try’s to come rescue me bless her! I was worried about the currant in Cornwall and her getting hit by the strong waves. This jacket gave me peace of mind she was safer in the water. Highly recommend for dogs who love the water, especially the sea, it will give them that extra buoyancy

This was a perfect fit around my Staffy's girth, but it was too long, so the underneath part cut into his private parts, and the neck was too big, even with the two sides fully overlapping, so I've had to return it. It's a shame, because it looks a really good life jacket.

Size medium fits our 2yr old male Cocker very well. The velcro and buckles make it very secure and it is easy to put on. The lead clip on the top is very useful too. He went into the sea for the first time and it aided him to swim out of his depth. The handle on top gave us extra help in getting him on top of the paddle board. Very well made and worth every penny.
