Homejoy TEXAS CONTRACT STRONG METAL FOLDING/GUEST/STUDENT/BED FRAME - 4FT SMALL DOUBLE.

After a few long trails of looking for a small double bed which would be durable, support a 14 stone woman and would be metal to withstand damp, I chose this from Homejoy from whom I had happily purchased previously.Many beds nowadays may look stylish but come with loose wooden slats that move and buckle and even break after a few months. I got sick of reading the same story.Many foldable items are never as strong as non-foldable. Not so with this bed as it has heavy-duty long hinges and there is nothing flimsy whatsoever about it since it is all-metal. It also has a high weight-bearing capacity of 240 Kg in contrast to other beds, even more expensive, that may only support 100 Kgs. So, even a medium-sized couple would be out of luck.The product then is high-quality. The company has a great attitude. I received a text from a courier to say that the bed had been delivered when no such thing had happened. I contacted Homejoy who seemed more worried about it than I was ! They even texted at 8 pm at night and chased up the delivery, apologising profusely even though it was not their fault at all. I cannot praise their concern and helpfulness enough. This review is belated in the thanks due to Homejoy. So, thanks and well done, Homejoy.The product and company are highly recommended. 5 stars.

Good thing to have and stable enough when up. Whether I will collapse it, as intended, now that there is a big comfy mattress on it.

Great sturdy and compact bed. Quite heavy but pretty easy to move. Arrived quicker than expected too (glad I was in!)

Need a heavy duty 3/4 folding bed, this bed more than meets requirements.worth paying the high price as good quality.

Took a couple of weeks to get here from ordering but I expected that. Obviously comes in a big box (heavy) and you may need help unpacking. But after that it's easy enough to set up. Just fold it out and follow the instructions to ensure the two fold down legs are properly in place. It's dead easy. Provides a very sturdy and strong bed but one that looks pretty modern and stylish too. I'm heavy but feel safe and supported on this bed (you'll want a decent mattress though because it is a firm sleeping platform). All in all I'm very pleased and would buy again.
