Buy the book. The Kindle version will not allow you to print the templates, unless I am doing something wrong. The book directs you to a page to download 'Doll Making Tips and Patterns (Nosy, Drowsy, Sneaky and Cutie).' The page (http://HowToGetCreative.com/CreatingFaces) is not valid.You have access to the patterns being used in her demonstrations to follow along, if you buy the book. If you download via Kindle, you can figure out how to print the patterns from the Kindle download or you have a choice of joining her club which is at a cost. I think it is $1 a day or $300+ a year. Another choice is to find templates on the internet.My preference was to download the templates so I could follow along. Oh Well....I guess I better start doing an internet search. I hope this purchase does not end up being a waste.

This is an excellent tutorial for new doll makers as well as seasoned doll makers reference. Very easy to follow along, and nice information on supplies.

Fantastic reference. Unfortunately as this was bought for Kindle device there is no ability to print the pattern pieces.In other reference/teaching purchases there has been a link to a printable version of the patterns.Other than this issue the book is full of wonderful easy to follow instructions.

This is a wonderful resource for doll makers to have in their resource library. Should you forget a technique you can always look it up in Creating Faces by Barb Owen, the instructions are easy to understand

Wanted to learn the technique for expressive fabric doll faces, this book is easy to follow. The instructions and photographs are excellent. Recommend to anyone curious to getting started.

Creating Faces is the most essential book for creating fully-sewn cloth doll faces! For beginners and intermediates alike. Purchasing was the best thing I could have done.

Great too for new doll makers

I think this book is great for completely beginners and I agree with other reviews, it is very basic and from the four faces it illustrates, there are very little different between them and not many techniques to learn.
