You got magic mouthpiece ?
As description of this mouthpiece on Yamaha site, rim feels very comfortable, even my regular mouthpiece is 3C, this small size and shallowness do not bother me at all. Balance of tone quality on all range is quite even. Although I have not been able to get loudness on all range at all. I guess it may take more time? to get used to, otherwise I was hoping to get loud sizzling double high G# up to double high C , it’s not happening. What mouthpiece should I try next ?

Perfect for my embouchure
This mouthpiece will either be perfect for you, or it won’t work at all.If you roll your lips in/ don’t put much lip into your mouthpiece (like me) than you should try out this mouthpiece. I’ve used a 14A4A for 2 years prior and the switch took no getting used to. I felt right at home on this mouthpiece and get a richer more consistent tone. This is also the most comfortable rim shape I’ve ever felt. That being said, I’ve let some of my friends try it out (their embouchures put a lot more lip into the mouthpiece) and they couldn’t make a sound on it. If you are already used to lead mouthpieces though this should be good for you.

Impressive
Had braces for about 3yrs so haven't played in awhile. Just ordered this b4 I got them off. I've been playing on a blessing 7c and 5c for about 11yrs and haven't tried any other mouthpiece(mpc). Using a combo of these mpcs and a student trumpet I've been able to play a double E above the staff. Needless to say I just got back into playing not even a week ago. With my 7c and 5c, at the moment I can hit a high E on the staff, when I tried this mpc I was immediately to go into a C above the staff. It gives a bright tone, and for me I still maintain my lower register with the same quality of sound. I think for the money this is definitely a steal of a deal.

Beautiful tone, extended range control, my control / articulation has improved
I took me about a week to re-adjust to this mouthpiece. Now that I feel I can give a fair review of it, I really liked the expression/tone I can get in all the registers. I tend to play below the double G range, So what I liked the most was the brilliance of my mid to upper ranges. I do have to work a little harder as compared to my Bach 3C, Old`s 3, and my other new Yamaha TR6A4A. But when I record in the studio, this is now my go to mouthpiece. It`s tone color is warm, but yet bright and easily controlled. I`m very happy with this one. My recordings sound great! This is definitely the one to record with. It really cuts thru the mix when I`m recording multiple horn tracks and I want the lead trumpet upfront. Yamaha instruments never let me down, it is truly an excellent design!

Works great for the higher register
This works better for higher notes, but on lower notes you may find some trouble using this.

Adequate design but I prefer the Bobby Shew lead trumpet mouthpiece
I was hoping this mouthpiece would be better than what I have been using. I own 3 of the Bobby Shew Yamaha mouthpieces. After playing this mouthPiece, my preference is for the Bobby Shew version.

Easy to switch from any other mouthpiece.
I play on a Bach 3c and getting used to this mouthpiece was easy. It is specified as a ‘lead’ mouthpiece however it sounds rather nice and warm in the lower register too. As for the upper register, it’s way easier to hit a double-G and higher.

This mouthpiece is absolutely amazing! I'm originally a Tuba player but I have adapted to playing literally all instruments I can find and this is my absolute FAVOURITE mouthpiece! I can play my Concerto for Trumpet by Haydn flawlessly! That high Eb is a breeze now! This is a must for any Trumpet player who is looking to increase their range and all-out playing abilities!
