Good Rod--Poor Directions
I purchased the white version of this fixed rod because the tension rod I started with was not strong enough to support my lined custom-made shower curtain. I'm happy to say that this fixed rod has stayed screwed into the wall and is supporting a very heavy (18 lb) 83" long lined shower curtain. I like the fact that it is white in color and that there is no expansion ridge in middle of the the rod so the shower hooks slide smoothly over the rod. The rod comes with a set of screws and drywall anchors and directions. The directions incorrectly instruct you to drill a 1/4" hole into sheetrock for the supplied anchors . We followed the instructions precisely and when we inserted the anchor into the pilot holes they just fell through the sheetrock wall. You either need to drill a smaller hole or buy bigger anchors. In our case, we drilled all the holes at once so we had to make a trip to the hardware store for a bigger anchor (Ugh!). Once we solved the anchor problem, we were able to attach the rod and put the screws into the anchor. On the con side....the rod comes 60" in length so if you have a 58 1/2" wide tub opening you have to get a hacksaw out to cut the rod to size. We had to cut it three times to finally get a length that would allow us to install this rod (once again.....Ugh!). This rod was NOT fun to install and the directions were inaccurate BUT we're pleased with the outcome. TIPS: You need 2 people to install this rod and if you're using curtain rings with eyelets instead of traditional shower hooks you have to remember to feed the rings on the rod BEFORE you install it. Hope my experience installing this rod is of some benefit to you.

Sturdy and shiny
This bar was a good purchase. It had to be cut to fit my shower wall width. The chrome is nice and shiny and the rod is sturdy. I recommend buying it.

Durable black finish
Finish on black rod appears to be durable. Using metal shower hooks on it, so will see how it holds up.

No rust and hard to damage
Rode should last at least 5-10 years. No rust or damage, made out of Stainless Steel with a polish on top.Price is high at almost $100 there are many other options from more popular brands. But I'm happy with this purchase.

Perfect for room divider curtains used with clip on rings
We ordered this 1" diameter white shower rod to use with white metal rings that have clips, and it works perfectly! Because it is more narrow than many rods and does not have finials or come in two pieces like a compression rod would, it was the best choice for a 60" opening in a hallway leading to a bathroom, closet and bedroom. The rings glide smoothly because there is nothing to catch on like on a two piece pole. No need to leave much extra room above the pole for extra curtain material if you use these clip on rings https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0754MTT63/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 instead of curtains that have grommets or hooks.Because I use supplemental oxygen I needed to remove the door to the bedroom to the right in the hallway because I had to struggle with tubing catching on it, and if I left the door propped open it blocked access to the closet (straight ahead in the short hallway). Also, there is a furnace air return in the floor below the open hallway so I needed to hang the curtain high enough so air could still circulate under it, but I could close the curtain and open the bathroom door so heat from the oxygen concentrator in the bedroom could help keep the bathroom warm in the winter. Any guest will be able to use the half bath on the same floor should nature call or for hand washing needs.I will still have privacy yet avoid any embarrassing moments should we have guests or not be ready for prime time. The curtain will also muffle noise from my late night tv binging (:D).This rod could also be used as a light duty closet rod or more if there were extra supports, but I would recommend a different product (by Hyloft) for stand alone closet rods: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000I4MINK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1I am having difficulty loading photos but will come back and do that when I can. I hope this review is helpful!

A SOLID rod. Worth the higher price!
Over the course of the past twelve mos I have to buy two spring tension rods because they kept falling down. I live in a very small studio and I NEED my shower rod to dry my towels and sometimes other items. So I gulped and paid the comparatively high price for this Naiture Aluminum 60 in. rod. Most importantly the flange is 360 °. In other words, it is not the typical flange that is open for half of the flange. The completely closed flange is, I believe, the reason for the strength of the rod (see below). It is VERY important to measure properly the width between walls. I did the measurement by myself with a measuring tape. I got it wrong by an inch or so. So suggest you ask a friend to measure with you to ensure a proper reading. If the width is GREATER than 6 ft. (72 in.) you will need to use an extender, which by the way I did not find in the box. Maybe I accidently threw away the extender with the packing because I didn't need it. My width was smaller than 72 in. If this is your case make sure you have a hack saw with a blade that cuts metal. This tool and a properly outfitted tool box used to be part of every household, but not so much these days. So again if the width between your walls is less than 72 in., get the proper hack saw if you don't have one.It also helped to have two people to install the rod. My millennial son helped me. We had fun and we both learned a few new tricks. And sure enough, once installed, the rod is solid. I wouldn't hang from it but a toddler could! I can now hang anything wet and dry it, even a large soaked blanket.I highly recommend this product, especially if you must have a shower curtain rod for hanging wet items. Worth every cent of the decidedly higher price! This Naiture rod is an investment. I kept the cheap spring tension rod. I will uninstall the Naiture rod and take it with me if I move to a new apartment. Enjoy!

Nice
Rod looks very nice. I suggest you cut 3/4" instead of the -1" they suggest when mounting. Also, suggest getting better wall anchors, mine spun when installing screws.

Solid, expensive product
This rod / brackets are strong. I needed a rod that was 1" O.D. to fit into shower brackets already installed and I cut it to length. The wall of the pipe is thick. The brackets that came with it which I did not use look solid as well.
