Bought this for our son for his Birthday. He loves it for work. He can carry his lunch plus a change of clothes in it for going out after work. Nice sized cooler and backpack all in one - how efficient. Matches all his other Carhartt items. Two thumbs up for durability and versatility. Good value for the price and it will last him for years.

I purchased this as a gift for my boyfriend, he is a blue collar worker and always has papers, clipboards, pens, pencils, etc. that he has to carry around with him. When I came across this backpack I thought it was perfect for him! It would be less for him to have to carry, can't go wrong with a 2-in-1.The backpack was great, he used it for a very long time, however, since he is a blue collar worker, he was very rough with it so it did get damaged quickly (but still usable throughout). I'm not sure if this specific item is meant to be more durable for the working man, since I do know their apparel is primarily targeted towards blue collar workers up until these last few years when it became more trendy.

Works well for my purposes. It doesn’t feel as durable as I expected of Carhartt—but I haven’t had any problems yet (after 2 months of daily use).Pros: 2-in-1: backpack on top, lunch box on bottom. Convenient for me to have all my work stuff in one bag. Main top and bottom compartment have 2 zippers for ease of access and I can open them from center. Compartments are great size for me. The cooler compartment holds my sandwich, yogurt, apple, chips bag, cookie container, carrot sticks bag, ice pack. The top compartment holds a Nalgene, a 40 Oz Hydroflask, a beanie, a portable speaker, Garmin radio, spare AA batteries, snack bag.The small front zipper pocket holds and organizes little things like my wallet, pocket knife, chapstick, pack of gum, Buff, keys.The mesh and canvas pockets on the sides stash gloves and rags well.Cons:The small front zipper pocket only has 1 zipper—I’d like it to have 2 like the other pockets so I can access it from the right hand side (hanging it on the one and only hook in my tractor behind my seat I can’t easily get into it without turning around entirely).The cooler compartment keeps things cool for maybe 5-6 hours with an ice pack, but it isn’t stellar insulation.As a woman, the straps feel too wide cutting into my chest when I carry it on my back. If they were contoured for women it would be more comfortable.

This lunch box is great with lots of room for food and snacks for a long day at work. The insulated pockets has lots of space for drinks and cold item and is super durable and water proof. The only thing that I would suggest improving is making the zipper pocket a front loading flap for the insulated part because the top is bulky and tips over when flipped open. Amazing for the value though.

Just received my bag and so I have yet to use it but from the start it’s smaller than I originally thought it would be, which isn’t a huge deal. I’ve never had a carhartt backpack before so idk if this is normal but it doesn’t feel up to par with their normal durability. The insulated section is a decent size but the liner definitely feels thinner than most other cooler/lunchboxes I’ve had in the past. The zippers themselves are plastic with metal pulls so I’m not sure how they’re going to hold up. It is a sharp looking bag and definitely feels comfortable on the back. I’m not upset with my purchase but I am interested to see how well it holds up with being used for work. Overall it’s a nice bag and I am excited to have it. Just wanted to put out my initial reaction to getting the bag

Purchased with intent to use for play dates longer outings with kids.I pack two bento boxes and 3 toddler cups with ice packs in cooler.I can fit like 2 hoodies, wipes, diapers, and some coloring activities and extra pair of clothes.Fits a bit awkward on me, mom 5’. But my husband wears it with no complaints.Not a good hiking option, but it’ll do for zoo, family outings, and longer museum outings.Happy with it, seams look sturdy, I will update if issues come up.

Super casual player. Just wanted a high quality bag to carry around my discs and a bunch of brewskies for the boys (looks like it could fit 8 tall boys comfortably in the insulated compartment). Very high quality construction. Will be very useful for hiking as well. Couldn’t ask for more!
