My home water makes me sick from the tap and I don't have a filter. Especially for the price this has made a big difference. I was a bit cautious, obviously. But, other than the filters needing extra rinsed due to a bit more than usual material falling through, it's been great. My coffee tastes better, and honestly, sometimes I fill a container out of the keurig and pop it in the fridge to drink water later.

Was a little worried purchasing this product. It said it may or may not work for my Keurig coffee maker. But I decided to purchase it anyway and give it a try. After assembling it and inserting it into the water holder, it was so loose and wobbly after inserting it onto the bottom exit valve. It didn't snap like I had hoped. So every time when I added water the thing would wobble around like it was going to pop out of its place. Couple weeks went by and I decided to give it another try and accidentally twisted it until it stopped and lo and behold it snapped and locked into place. I love this product. Works great now.

Fit's my Keurig K450 perfectly, and now when the "change filter" warning comes on, I actually can change the filter...As to how much the filter does -- I'd say that's probably dependent largely on the water you use. I always let the chlorine evaporate from my water before putting it into the machine (or using it for tea, coffee, etc), so for me the filter is largely removing excess minerals and any impurities (we have fairly good water quality for a rural community). In short, I don't notice that much difference in the taste of the coffee from the Keurig, but you might, and it's well worth the investment if your Keurig didn't come with a filter assembly.Just make sure you soak the filter in warm (hot) water for at least five minutes (I do fifteen), and then run fresh water through it until there is no discoloration -- it's a charcoal filter, so if you don't prep it properly, you're not going to be happy with the results.
