The friend I \"painted\" was a light-skinned Caucasian male with a base tan and it took several coats until we were happy with the color. (We painted him in his hotel room.) However- once he was up on the stage he looked quite washed out compared to many of the others. We switched over to Dream Tan- it looks faintly metallic but tends to give darker, more opaque coverage.
