Good CPL, but can do better in value.
I got this CPL for my Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S ED VR II Telephoto Zoom Lens for Nikon DX-Format Digital SLR Cameras lens.Positives:Good Construction.Slim. Hence, no image problems caused by thicker filters.Good Optical quality.Angle markers help in setting the CPL position quickly. (watch out on lenses that rotate when zooming in, this might cause more confusion)Doubles as a ND filter.Negatives:Not multicoated.Slim. Can not fit lens cap.Expensive.I would not recommend this filter. This filter is a good investment for expensive lenses and users looking to get professional results. I could find only a little difference in optical performance between Tiffen CPL and this one. I would buy cheaper filter Tiffen 72mm Circular Polarizer for less expensive lenses and swing higher B+W 77mm Circular Polarizer MRC Filter or Tiffen 72HTCP 72MM Digital HT Circular Polarizer Titanium Filter for more expensive lenses.

Just as advertised
Exactly what I was looking for

It appears to be used
Hoping to try it out soon. It seems like it does polarize. When I opened the Amazon I found the case beat up like it has been in a camera bag for a while. When I opened the case it had no protection on the top of the filter. When I inspected it the filter had finger prints and smudges on it... It cleaned up hard..The ad said it was new, bit it appears to be used. Too bad I spent money for a new filter when it was obviously used. If I wanted a used filter definitely would not sent that much on it.

Pretty Good
The polarizer came quickly and undamaged. Its performance is great as I'v had no problem taking away pesky reflections when at the proper angles. There are no problems with the quality of what its suposed to do. I do not like the slim filter personally because i cannot attach my ND filter holder (screw in) to it, nor is it possible to even put on your lens cap. My small fingers are able to adjust it easy enough but sometimes it gets lodged onto my lense for some unknown reason. Also, amazon had charged me with shipping (which I expected), but when the delivery guy came to the door he double charged me for the same price.

Polarize this!
When you really do want your pictures to be all that they can be, go Heliopan. I thought the price on Amazon was great (beat my local store by $100). You know you want this....buy it. I use one on bothy the 70-200 and the 100-400. Actually I'm glad I had it on the 70-200, the other day I found the polarizer had been shattered (I'm sure it was either the cleaning lady or a nephew that knocked it off the shelf that lens sits on when I am not using it (earthquakes don't dislodge it, it really does require a human to pick it up and then fumble it) the lens survived without a scratch. I recommend this for all your outdoor lenses.

Issues with threads
The filter that I received was in ok shape. Out of the package it had fingerprints and was dirty leading me to question whether or not is was actually a brand new product (there is not a tamper seal or tape). This I could have lived with, but for me the larger issue was the binding of the threads. A circular polarizer is a lens filter that is not left on 100% ofthe time and thus needs to have good threads to he able to come offend be pit on easily. When screwing it on to a brand new Canon 10-22mm lens, I found that it was difficult to screw on. I did not run into this same issue with any of my B+W filters and will probably stick with them exclusively in the future.Overall decent construction other than the threading issue and the possibility of a slightly used product. For what it is worth I did not notice any amount of vignetting when using this on the 10pm focal length.

Excellent Filter
I have not always approached buying filters with the philosophy that it pays to have good glass, but after buying cheaper filters that got stuck on my lens or were difficult to clean I decided that my photographic images deserved better. The Heliopan Circular Polarizer is great. It screws on easily and smoothly. It is very easy to rotate and the guide numbers help if you want to recall the exact position of the filter for a multiple shots of the same scene. I won't go with cheap glass again!

uh oh...
Whatever excellent features this polarizer has were totally ruined by the fact that the lens cap would not fit onto the lens, once this polarizer is in place. I use Nikon lenses, and all of them have circular polarizers, and admittedly most are Nikon polarizers, and all will allow the lens cap to fit over them. After 28 years using polarizers on all my lenses I had yet to run across one which would not accept the lens cap. Which means that a person has to remove the polarizer to replace the lens cap.... not amusing out in the field, or anywhere for that matter. The attributes of the thing seem excellent - appearance, construction, optical quality, value - all good. But not accepting the lens cap is a deal breaker for me. If you only use a polarizer occasionally, I suppose you wouldn't be bothered by this, but I keep them attached to my lenses nearly 100% of the time.

A robust and overall excellent filter. I'm impressed with the usual high standard of manufacturing. I would have awarded 5 stars, but initially I had difficulty in detaching the filter from my lens. Rubber eventually bands did the trick (it wasn't a case of miss threading) and I quickly learned not to screw the filter on to the lens too tightly. A very happy ending thank goodness.

very good and slim
very good and slim, haven't worked out how to attach lens cap yet as it is very slim, but excellent quality filter

Thin enough for my camera.
Works well, it was a little too stiff to turn initially, but good now. It is thin enough to work well on my Fuji x100f lens.

Stiff ring - optically good
Works well optically but the adjustment ring is very stiff at two points on rotation making it difficult to make fine adjustments.

Excellent filter!
I didn't notice any significant vignetting or loss of resolution. The filter is also easy to clean and solid. The filter also offer some grip, one to screw it on and off easily and the other one to adjust the polarising effect. It's now almost always mounted on the camera.
