Great amp!
Over the past several months, I've become a huge fan of Pyle products. Like the other products that I've acquired, I am very pleased with this amp.We hooked it up to some speakers that came with our JVC stereo, and it worked perfectly. Unless you have a very complicated system that you're connecting to the amp, setup is a breeze. After connecting the speaker wires to the amp (which took a while because of the wires that we have and has nothing to do with the amp itself), connecting a device took no time. You can connect to the amp via several methods, and that is a major plus for me. We normally use the amp with an Echo, which we connect via Bluetooth, and it works flawlessly. It seems to be well built, sturdy and has a decent weight. The amp is fairly small, and can be mounted virtually anywhere, or simply sat on top of any place of your choosing. It is mostly black with black dials, the "Pyle" logo in blue, numbers and lines around the three dials (volume, treble and bass) and in other places are white, and there are a few more small words/sentences on it in white. There are USB and SD slots on the front of the amp, above the LCD screen. It isn't an eyesore, and can sit in any room without being noticed or taking away from the decor. It blends very well with my living room and doesn't look out of place. The LCD screen isn't excessively bright. It is bright enough to clearly see what is on the screen, but not excessively bright to the point of being distracting at night or in the dark. The sound is awesome. While I'm not extremely well versed in this kind of technology, I have enough knowledge to say that this is a very decent 2-channel amp. Our speakers aren't "top of the line," so alone, they don't put out the best sound in the world; but with the amp, though, one would never be able to tell that the speakers are on the fairly low-end of the price and quality spectrum. Are the speakers awful on their own? Absolutely not, but this amp does a lot for them. The sound is crisp, clear and loud. The amp comes with a remote, which you can use to power the amp on/off, change the mode (input), decrease/increase/mute volume, pause, fast/skip forward, rewind/skip backwards, pause/play, scan (there are other things included on this button), randomize/repeat songs/tracks (at least I think that button does one of these things), access the equalizer and enter numbers. I honestly use the remote to control the amp a lot more than I use the controls on the amp itself. As I use the amp with more devices/speakers, I will update my review as/if necessary.Just a note: It doesn't come with cables, so you'll need your own or purchase them separately.

Good unit
Overall the unit is just what I needed. The small (fairly cheap feeling) remote that came with it does not work. I changed the battery in it and it still does not function. I'm not too concerned about that since I won't likely ever use it or need it. We have it connected to our 4k TV outside by our pool, so we are either using that connection for watching TV (use TV remote) or we connect for music through Google Chrome or blue tooth ( use smart phone for control). So the remote would never get used. As for sound quality, it's absolutely above its price. Plenty loud and has good depth. I have it hooked up to Bose 151 speakers and it drives them very well. It could power larger speakers I'm sure. I do not turn it up more than half way and it's plenty loud at that level. The unit is under our covered area so it isn't it in the weather but it will remain outside. We live in Florida so only time will tell how long it'll last. If I get more than 2 years it if it I'll call it worth it.

Does a good job driving my "rock" speakers by the pool.
I purchased this after a previous amp failed after two years of service. This one is much better built and doesn't drop the Bluetooth signal like my old one did. The unit sits in my garage and drives to 12" outdoor rock speaker via outdoor speaker cable and waterproof wire nuts. The sound is great until we decide to push the volume up to 8. At that point the sound quality begins to degrade and then rapidly continues downhill. For the price it is a great buy and if you listen to you music at a comfortable conversation level most of the time (like we do) it is a good buy.

Worked great for a week
Excellent unit, worked great for a year, one channel died, I couldn't find anything better so I bought another one, it worked great for five days, then a channel died.

Driving outdoor weatherproof speakers
Using this amp outdoors to drive external speakers. I do not know how weather proof this unit is because I built a weather proof box to place it in. The amp is fine driving my speakers. I only use the Bluetooth connection to listen to music from my phone. The Bluetooth connection in my implementation is fairly weak, I cannot move my phone farther than 10 or 12 feet before I start to get drop outs. This may be due to the box I placed it in rather than the unit itself. It does what I need, no issues to date, no problems connecting the Bluetooth when close to unit, sound quality is fine for my ears. I have had it for a few months and no issues.

Not enough power
The power adapter priced is too small. If your music has lots of lower frequencies, you will hear the speakers outputs struggle. I moved up to a 10A 12Vdc power source and the music was louder as it should be but there was too much distortion for me. I decided to rerun the amplifier.

Disappointed
Volume and sound are mediocre at best. Had to return as defective after a month. Electronics failed completely. Company says it takes 4-6 weeks for them to fix or replace. I am not impressed.

Seriously great, and not just "for the money"
This is a great budget amp, but really it's just a great amp period. Those complaining that it seems under-powered have probably not noticed that the amp's volume boost is not all the way up by default. The amp comes with a remote control and physical volume knobs. It you just use the knobs or the control, you will never achieve full volume. You must use the remote at least once to hit the plus sign until the boost is at maximum. Only then you can use the knobs to adjust for full volume control.I am using mine for an outdoor Halloween display, and paired with a 200 watt speaker disguised as a rock, this setup is crazy loud. I could easily blast my volume high enough to annoy everyone on my street. I don't plan to do that, of course, but I would find it hard to believe you could not achieve a volume suitable for a boat with your equipment set up correctly (and speakers rated high enough to even boost this loud).

Blue Tooth Connection is too bad
Doesn't connect well with my Android Phone ( Samsung Note 20).Bluetooth manager manage to connect to this device but cannot play songs. Too much noise and interruptions. I am disappointed.
