Accurate but slow
For less than £20 this is an accurate scale with a timer and clear backlit display. Is it a thing of beauty? - no. Will you feel any pride of ownership? - doubtful. Will is still work in 2 years? - who knows. It does everything that the more expensive Hario V60 metal scale does for 1/5 of the price. They aren't the quickest scales - probably a second or so time lag, so you need to factor that in when doing a pourover. But if you are on a budget, don't want to spend £100 on the Hario but want a timer, accuracy and backlit display these could be for you

Daily v60 brews 1 month review
After a month use for brewing pour-overs I've found a few pros & cons. To note I've only tested one set, you may have a different experience with your set, I cant comment on quality control. Only a few in-depth reviews maybe this changes after James Hoffman featured the set in his 'Cheap Espresso Setup' today reminding me to post this.Few notes.. Build quality is as expected cheap plastic & a squishy display. The silicon mat fits well and works to prevent slips. I love the green LCD its bright and has fine viewing angles. Green>Blue displays always. They've survived spills fine. The timer works as expected and beeps as each minuet that passes, its not overly loud. There's a hole in the back to wall hang if desired. The 4 rubber feet grip fine, though they leave marks my counter top if slid around, going to replace them not a big issue. When it comes to weighing bean & single weighs from zero, mine are accurate. With this i'm able to weigh my bloom consistently. An issue that I expected commonly found in cheap kitchen scales is drift. When Increasing the weight incrementally causes them to drift and display the wrong weight. For espresso this might be less of and issue. With pour-overs this no good and has to be compensated. For now I've found they are consistent with the over reads. I aim to brew 18g in - 288g out. Adding a extra 40g (328g displayed weight) is currently consistently getting my desired weight of 288g.Overall I think they are good value for money as an entry level coffee scales I would recommend. If unaware of scale drift then they may appear broken, but accounting for it they've worked a well for me. I would expect to encounter this this issue with most value coffee scales.I don't think they will last long if dropped or misused. Value for money, but if you can buying quality products & supporting companies helps progression in the industry and results in less E waste. Peace, love & stay caffeinated

Great scales with advanced features
I have been using this for a few years now and I find it really good. I bought this mainly for my coffee routine but use it for all kitchen purposes. It’s sturdy, reliable and adaptable. The timer works very well for my filter coffee pours and it stows away neatly. I haven’t a bad word to say about it.

Great for the price
Been using these at least twice a day for a few months now. They work great and show no signs of breaking. There is a very slight delay on the scales, which took a little getting used to when weighting the coffee beans out. But other than that they a really great little set. We even use the scales and timer for other cooking purposes not just coffee, because they out and handy to use.

Great but singular point of failure will limit lifespan
Great, accurate pair of scales with decent run time from a singular battery.Unfortunately I just woke up one morning slightly less than 2 years of owning this scale for it to reveal a design failure which will very likely wear down and break on every unit as its the sole point of stress. Shame as otherwise great scales.

Decent but quite laggy for timing your espresso shots!
It's a good little scale that fits even with my biggest cup under the portafilter of my Sage Bambino Plus.It does make a decent and accurate job of measuring my espresso dose. HOWEVER and it is a big however, when you're pulling your shot, the delay or lag introduces a lot of guess work. Say you want to extract 40g of coffee and you want to know how long it takes, you have to stop around 35-38g and hope you get the 40g you want. by the time you finish guessing and stopping the timer, you probably either under exrtracted by a gram or 3 or over extracted by 4g. As long as you are patient, with great hand to eye coordination and amazing power of guesstimation, you would probably miss your ideal 40g extraction in 28-30 seconds. It puts you in the ball park but fine tuning is hard and unreliable. I might just have to use the timer and see if I ever get to my ideal extraction at the perfect time. Buy if you want a challenge. Avoid if you value accuracy and efficiency above everything else.
