I had decided some time ago that I wanted to build my own desk that would better accommodate my needs for recording and writing music while at the same time allowing for flexibility so that I could still use it a a regular desk for writing and other things.From this custom build came a bit of a dilemma, I wanted to have a sliding keyboard area, but not for a computer keyboard instead for a MIDI keyboard. ( This Axiom ) At first I was going to re-purpose the sliders from my old desk for this task, this proved to be futile as the cheap things broke when installing them, the bearings jammed and broke out of the slides. So off to Amazon I went to find some new and better slides!These slides are much better than other with their vast array of applications that they have. I say this because you are not limited by width like some other keyboard slides, which would be an issue for me. Also, these are not top mounting like some other slides, and instead mount to the slide like one would expect.As for quality, these are rock solid. They are currently holding my keyboard which is a hefty 16 pounds! Whilst playing they don't buckle or rattle, and there is not movement that I can detect. They are simply wonderful.If you are looking to use these as regular drawer slides, they're great. Too, if you are looking to use these as sliders for a keyboard tray both a computer keyboard or maybe even a MIDI keyboard or Synth, they will work wonderfully! At such a value for the price, it would even be worth it to undertake a project just to get to use them! 5*/5*

They were easy to install and when used in conjunction with  Blum Universal Mounting Bracket  i was easily able to mount them to the base of my 1\2 plywood shelves. The super tricky part with these was to be able to get them lined up so that you don't have to move them to much. We reversed the mount so that it was under the drawer so that we could have a full width drawer in the cabinet. They slide really smooth and extend all the way with no issues. They also lock back into place which is very nice to have.Pro's• 100lbs capacity, they will be able to hold almost anything you can put on them• Many different lengths, this review is for the 16 inch, but they have many sizes• Super easy to install, just some screws and off you goCon's• If you using them with the bottom mount adapters we had to make our own hole for one of them, but worked out• Can be annoying to line up and make sure they are level• Gets your hands a little greasy if you mess with them a lotConclusionFor an overall project these are great. easy to work with and heavy duty. Take your time when installing them to make sure they line up and are level. Completely worth the price.

I'm very happy with these slides. I was able to replace my junky original slides that were also half an inch on each side. The provided screws worked well with the half inch wall thickness and now my drawers are firmly in place and slide easily (but not too easily) in a satisfying way. It was much harder getting my drawer faces installed than the simple act of installing these.I was a bit confused as to which length I should purchase, as there was a little extra room in my kitchen cabinet. It seems as though 22 inch slides match up well with 22 inch drawer boxes. The first slide I bought was 24 inch which when paired with a 22 inch drawer brought my drawer completely out of the opening, which is fine, but didn't add anything to using the drawer. I don't expect these drawers will ever see anywhere near 100 pounds of contents, unless one of my kids starts pretending they are steps, but it's nice to have that kind of reserve strength.These slides are slightly greasy to the touch, as the ball bearings are well lubricated and there is a thin coat of grease over the whole surface of the metal.There are a wide variety of holes for inserting screws throughout and you can choose to put a screw in either a simple round hole or elongated holes that allow for adjusting either back and forth or up and down. In general, I used the simple set holes, but I can see where you might want to choose the back and forth adjustable openings. I used a small drill bit to pre-drill the holes, both into my cabinet and into my drawer boxes.In general, a quality product that improved my kitchen.

Durable steady construction, ultra-smooth gliding well lubricated ball bearings straight out of the package, with more than adequate pre-drilled holes for any number of mounting options. Not a complaint; just stating that this product does not include any screws for mounting.
