Best eye make up remover on EARTH!
I have tried everything out in the market, from cheap to really expensive ones. This one is on the inexpensive end. Still, it is the ultimate best! It removes even waterproof mascara and leaves your eyes not only super clean but hydrated. It is not greasy as many eye removers are.A little confession, although it clearly says it is "Eye Make Up Remover", I use it on my entire face. It leaves it as if I never had make up on. A little goes a long way, which makes it even cheaper. I am almost 50, and I have tried it all! At this point in life, you want things to work regardless of how much they cost and/or the name or the advertising behind the brand. This is just THE ABSOLUTE best makeup remover. I hope it is all right to use it all over my face, not just on my eyes, but before you do, ask the experts. i am not one of them. I am just a consumer.

Works well, but easy to use too much
I have been trying to switch over to cruelty - free brands and was trying this to replace my current eye makeup remover. It works really well and, even better, is a third of the price of what I was using previously. My only complaint is the gel consistency isn't my favorite. I'm used to a liquid consistency so I've had to play around to figure out the right amount of gel to use. I gave 4 stars because it does sting your eyes a little when you use too much. Other than that, it was easy to use and removed my eye makeup fully and easily (no scrubbing required). Overall pleased with my purchase and will continue to use this.

It's okay.
I thought it would take off my mascara immediately, but that's not the case. I have to use more product than what I thoutht I would have to.

Read My Review- It Works & Does A Good Job
I bought this a whole year ago and have been using this since. People who are saying it burns your eyes, it’s true it does. It burns it for like 20 seconds maybe less and then it goes away if you use a clean makeup cloth, pad or wipe. Again, I’ve been using this and my vision is fine my eyes are fine and I have sensitive eyes believe me.Secondly, let’s talk about the removing makeup power. People- if you’re saying it doesn’t do anything it’s probably because you’re globing it on then just rubbing back and forth which 1) is how you lose/rip out eye lashes even if you used baby oil as a remover or actual drug store makeup remover and 2) gets into your eyes more. When you pump a couple pumps of this stuff onto a cotton pad (get a pad without ridges just a flat one that also isn’t frizzy so your lashes don’t get stuck in the fibers), lay it on your eyes and gently press and hold for 10-15 seconds. It needs a little bit to “melt” off your makeup so you can gently slide it and it’ll come off. This method has worked for me and I wear a waterproof primer AND waterproof mascara and never had issues. You need to be gentle and patient with your make removing process that’s the bottom line. Give this a try I recommend it and I only came to leave a review because I’m actually purchasing more now. This is way better than my baby oil and my Neutrogena liquid eye makeup remover. Also I do not feel any stickiness on my skin afterwards when fully wiping off all the excess with a clean cotton pad.

The search continues...
I've been looking for a new makeup remover ever since I stopped buying from the ladies in the pink Caddys because I don't want to support the gross MLM business model any longer. I've read tons of lists and reviews and tried dozens of different kinds, but unfortunately have yet to find one that works and is kind to my eyes. This one came highly recommended by a couple of beauty magazines, and the reviews were decent, so I gave it a try. You'd think with a name like Makeup Melt it would work wonders for the most stubborn of makeup. Sadly, it did not live up to its name.As other reviews mention, it burns. Even using ultra gentle, clean, brand new cotton pads. It stings like no other remover I have tried. I don't have sensitive skin or allergies, but something in this product has my skin tingling in an uncomfortable way long after using it.I could forgive a little discomfort if it removed my makeup well, but again it falls short. When removing eye makeup, I always hold the coated pad over my eye for about 10 seconds before swiping to allow the product to work. I gave this one even longer, and I still ended up scrubbing to get it off. After scrubbing and reapplying the gel, I still wasn't able to get it all off for fear of scrubbing my eyes raw.I decided to give it two stars instead of one because it smells nice, and before it starts to sting, the cooling gel is kind of refreshing.

Works great but with another product= A++
So this product works plain and simple. I wear a ton of waterproof mascara and I find just putting some in my hand and rubbing that on my lashes works to get basically all my makeup off. But, it does burn if you get it in your eyes. It’s nothing unbearable, but is frustrating. I have never written an Amazon review before, but I felt like I have to because of the discovery I made with this product. Usually, I use this product and then use a makeup wipe after to get the rest of my makeup before washing. But, using this product in conjunction with the Burts Bee’s Cleansing Oil is a GAME CHANGER. The BB Cleansing Oil is a holy grail for me, but I still need a makeup wipe after for just the little bits of mascara. But using these together got every bit of makeup off- I used a makeup wipe after and no joke there was nothing on it. So the product works by itself, but combined with that oil (or probably any cleansing oil, just can’t speak to that) was heaven sent.
