Orange AmpsAmplifier Part (FTSWCH-Dual)

The only bad thing about this purchase is that I forgot to buy cables. This will require 1/4 inch cables separately purchased. It worked well with my Orange guitar amp.

I bought this to go with my Orange amplifier (even bought little orange cables to go with it too) and it works just as one might expect. I find the footprint glyphs to be unattractive and not particularly useful; it's just a foot that says "switch" inside under both switches. Like it's not obvious that it's a footswitch? I don't know why it's necessary. Maybe since Orange is sort of known for their whimsical icons that go with all of their amps' features, they wanted to continue that with the switch. Anyway, that's spending way too long on the feet. The switches are sturdy and make a decisive "click" when you hit them. They're a bit tough to press if you're in bare feet, but at least that hints at ruggedness. The bottom is covered in a non-slip neoprene foam so it doesn't want to get away from you.My only complaint is that the lights act a bit opposite to what I'd expect, but that's probably Orange's fault with the amp and not the switch. If I use the switch for the onboard reverb, the light is on when the reverb is activated and the light is off when it is not--that's usual behavior. If I use the switch between the clean and overdrive channel, though, the light is on for the clean channel and off for the overdrive channel, sort of opposite of what I'm used to. I opened the back to see if it'd be possible to rewire the switch to express the opposite behavior, but they were both wired to a small PCB so it was out of the question. I am glad they don't use an XLR or TRS connector though, so it's useful with more applications than specific amps. And I'm also glad I was able to get it at a discount to the usual price courtesy of amazon.

Built well controls my pro 60 as it should

The only thing worth mentioning here is that for some reason, the pedal shows a light when teh distortion is off and has no light when the distortion is on.Very confusing for someone like me. Im having a bit of a time adjusting to that backwards engineering

Exactly what I expected. Works like it should. A little big for what it does but not an issue for me. Somewhat pricey for what it does, but I did want an orange product for my orange amp.

Compré este pedal para un amplificador Orange por lo que la compatibilidad estaba garantizada, ello no obstante no impide que puedan ser usados con otros amplis. Yo lo hice con un Marshall JCM e iba perfectamente. El pedal es un tanque y, además, muy bonito. Los pulsadores son suaves y los leds de encendido y apagado muy luminosos. Vienen provistos de una base acolchada para evitar que se escurran al pisarlos. Teniendo en cuenta que son un switch on/off, no creo que haya mucho más que añadir: buen producto.

Pedale originale Orange, fa il suo mestiere: cambia il canale e attiva / disattiva il reverbero. Non é incluso il cavo doppio jack.La confezione era un po'...così... È arrivato dentro una busta trasparente, in una scatola Amazon, nessun foglio illustrativo, niente cartellini, istruzioni, nada de nada; poco piacevole come prima impressione.

Now I can change channels and switch the reverb on/off without having to move. Works well with my Orange CR 120 amp. Arrived quickly would highly recommend seller!!
