After pulling a muscle in my lower back, sitting for long periods in my truck was painful. I tried rolled up towels, but they became unrolled, fell on the floor, etc. The Portable Orthopedic Back Support was a terrific solution. Elastic bands hold it in place pretty well, although they could be beefier and adjustable. It the summer the back support would be hot, so something with ventilation might be better. Overall, it was an inexpensive and good solution to what I hope is a temporary problem.

(...comfy, as you can still squeeze it). It is 5 inches in thickness versus the average 2-3 inches, which makes it firmly meet the "crook" in my lower back to deliver the finest SUPPORT. I sleep upright so, for me, the FIT, SHAPE/SIZE, and THICKNESS are crucial. As for fit, it does not have deep "wings," allowing me to shift a little without "wings" poking into my back. The size and thickness is right; it is not thin, that it slips down between the couch cushions behind me. Its shape and size adds just the correct amount of support needed in my couch-lounger, and it lies flat well against my couch's contour. These are the things that matter to me when shopping for the perfect pillow. As far as service, I received the pillow in just ONE day in good condition. and at a great price---especially considering its good quality. For someone who likes deep tissue massage, compression, firmer support, this is the best pick and performs BEST AMONG MOST---I have been through many that have had less-satisfying support!! (I would not recommend it to someone who gets sore when firm pressure is applied. On the other hand, if you are not accustomed to firm support, but think it would benefit your spine, perhaps you might get used to it if you are willing to endure a little soreness initially (as with new shoes that have added support or with a firm massage, the bit of initial discomfort fades, but the benefit remains). Otherwise, for you, a pillow less thick, less firm, and more flexible might be a better choice while providing you some versus full support. I give it 5 stars fron the start. FOLLOW-UP Review: I rated this product earlier and was super-pleased, as one can read the above. Just a few months of regular use, however, the cover material started to crack and then peel, much to my disappointment. It originally appeared to be quality leather, but I quickly discovered it was a thinner, inferior make of ("pleather") instead. To be fair, the comfort & firmness is still uncompromised, but the appearance is unsightly now from just average use indoors. I would NOT purchase again and am reducing rating from 5 to 2 stars, sadly.

This Portable Orthopedic Lumbar back support memory foam & PU leather seat is comfortable. I use it in my vehicle. The black strap on the back of it is too short. I sewed on an extra extension to be able to fit it around the drivers seat in my vehicle. It now fits nicely & stays in place and does not ride up and down or left and right on my back as I drive. The price was reasonable and affordable for my budget.

I've had this lumbar support for about two months now, and while it does offer both support and relief, I don't think its impact is as great as it could be because 1) it's too wide to fit comfortably behind my back in the seat, and 2) it pushes me forward too far and I can't bring the seat back farther.

I read the reviews before buying but took my chances with it. It is bigger than I expected and is pretty hard. I can use it in my work chair, but the strap doesn't fit around my chair so it falls over every time I stand up. It is too deep to use in my car which is the reason I purchased it. However, it does make my back feel better when I use it in my work chair.

Very cheap, thin PU coating, and way too thick padding for comfortable use. You're floating in front of the seat with this guy, much thicker than normal lumbar pillows.

The pillow is great. I use it in my truck which I spend a lot of time in commuting and going to various job sites. My only complaint is the pillow is slightly taller than I would prefer. I'm 5'9" and for my height it rides a little high on my back. I can usually just stuff it down a little and this is a minor inconvenience compared to the quality of the pillow and the comfort that it brings me.

I purchased it for use in my vehicle, but it puts me to far from the stearing wheel. Although it didn't work in my truck, I was still able to use it around the house.
