The belt is shorter than expected, but I was able to wrap it enough to fit around my hip. My first belt of this type is that the bottom layer stretches over time and becomes too long to wrap tight under the elastic bands. Considering this then the tight fit is actually a good thing. The belt is wide enough to stay out around the waist/hip, and is well constructed. Many reviews of these belts complain about the velcro becoming wormed, so I mostly leave the velcro attached and take it off by pulling it down my legs to keep it from wearing out. So far I find this a very good product and helps with my lower back pain. It also costs less than comparable belts so it is a great value.

Supports your hips during the golf swing and keeps them from getting sore while playing. Minor problem is the body rotation during the golf swing causes the belt to move somewhat and cause some skin irritation afterwards. But, some skin cream can take care of that issue, and it is worth it not to have the aching hips after golf.

I didn't think this was going to be as good as it was. It really works for my lower back/tail bone pain. It is also very discreet and thin. You can easily hide that you're wearing it. It is mostly all black so practically disappears on black pants/shorts. Can't even detect it under a shirt. It pretty much stays on the hips without riding up much, the fatal flaw of other braces on me. The price can't be beat. Very good quality construction. I wash it on gentle cycle/cool water in the washing machine & it comes out looking just as new.

Fits very small

Wore while 6-8 months pregnant, it really helped stabilize my hips when I was working. I wasn’t able to wear it beyond 8 months because my stomach became too large & it became uncomfortable on my lower abdomen. Do note, wearing any type of belt to stabilize your hips can throw your upper back out of alignment. I was seeing a chiropractor regularly and he was able to adjust my upper back as needed after wearing belt for a few days. Went to the chiropractor every week or two for my hips anyways, one of the only things other than this belt that helped. I love the dual adjustment on this belt, it let me adjust it perfectly to get the right amount of support I needed.

This product truly helped my SI joint pain and I am grateful. The design, including the width of the belt, is great. However, like many reviews here have said, the belt stretches to be nearly unusable. Additionally, the velcro wears out quickly, such that it no longer sticks. I wore the belt daily for approx 3 months and then gave up on it due to the inconvenience of the extra-long length and the nonsticking/nonfastening velcro. I would encourage finding a different brand that will last longer.

Could have given this a 5 star but I personally reserve that for WOW's! I've had SI area back problems on the left side for years. While this belt didn't cure or completely relieve it, it has made the instances less frequent and less painful. Doesn't come with directions for use but a it is somewhat intuitive and my PT person helped/confirmed good placement. I use it about 8 hours a day, every other day. A little tough to get on or remove quickly but it gets easier and worth it. Well made and certainly better than smaller/cheaper types I've tried. Worth the shot for you.
