No, Kiln Wash is for kiln shelves. Ceramic molds are usually made of plaster and should not be fired in a kiln.

No difference aside from the obvious. :)

We have not used a microwave kiln, but it should work just fine.

Q: Does anyone know the coverage for shelf wash?

If you’re asking how many shelves you can cover with one jar, it depends how you use it, but I’ve personally been able to wash 8 half shelves for a 7cu ft kiln.
