Waverly Large Cross-body Convertible Tote Handbag

I bought this bag for a plane trip I was taking specifically to carry my small laptop (11.6") and other personal items that I did not want to put into my carry-on luggage. I was able to carry the laptop, my medications, the bag of liquids/gels that I needed to be handy for TSA screening, my wallet and other items that I wanted to keep accessible on the flight...all with some room to spare. The shoulder strap, which I wore on the opposite shoulder, made the bag almost effortless to carry even though it was holding a decent amount of weight. It fit under the seat in front of me with ease. It's also stylish and I love the neutral color. The only negative input I have is that the liner is not secured, otherwise I would have probably given a 5-star review. This lack made looking through the bag, removing/adding things a little difficult as the lining moves and flops around. Aside from that, I am very happy with the purchase.

So the color is more mustard yellow than brown. BUT It’s still a nice looking bag, and, most importantly, it’s exactly what I was looking for in size and functionality. I’ve been scavenging the Internet for a diaper bag but wasn’t thrilled by many of the options available. I prefer cross body, I wanted it to look like a purse I might use every day, and I didn’t want to spend a small fortune. I was so excited to see that it fits my needs exactly. To give a reference for size, I’ve attached a pic. I put all feeding/nursing accessories with change of clothes in one section, diapering goods with changing pad in middle zippered section and still had a section open for my stuff like wallet and water bottle with room to spare. Fits comfortably on shoulder or across body and doesn’t look as enormous as many diaper bags I tried or the small duffle I ultimately used when my first two kids were babies. Glad I expanded my search outside of traditional diaper bags :-)

Purse is beautiful, love the color and the material. Huge! Only downside is the interior lining is SO loose making it harder to find things in such a huge purse. Contemplating tearing the lining out all together.

I loved the size of the bag and the color. The hand straps fit very well on the shoulder without the need for the shoulder strap. My complaint: the "front" zipper broke after less than 2 weeks of use so I have to return it.

First, this is a large purse, but being large doesn't mean it's too large. I love the way it fits and feels. I don't use the cross body strap that was included. This bag fits perfectly on my shoulder and I hold it under my arm. Everyone mistakes this for a real leather bag. I really am impressed by the quality and I say, don't hesitate! It's a great bag. I've received many compliments.

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter! She loves it! Great quality and value!

seriously a gorgeous bag... I bought to travel with as a bonus piece of luggage, I'm very pleased with the size and quality and confident it will serve it's intended purpose well!
