Healthy and delicious ! I use it for cooking and as a substitute for traditional cooking oil.

I have been using this first rate product for twenty years: therefore, I did not bother to read the reviews: my bad. The picture shows the 13 oz jar with no mention of price per ounce. The product shipped is the 7.5 oz jar. I am only one of many who made this mistake. Buyer beware.

I love the flavor and quality of this ghee but cannot seem to find out if it comes from grass fed cows. The label reads, "pasture raised" but that doesn't legally mean or guarantee they are grass fed and the fact that it doesn't specifically say, "grass fed" could be an oversight but is a lack of transparency that's concerning as it's becoming increasingly difficult to find honest advertising and truly quality products. Someone please tell me if they this product does come from grass fed cows.Just found info on their website that, while explaining the difference between pasture raised and grass fed, doesn't actually state what percentage of their diet is grain (90 %...10%?) and I would like to take them at their word but wish they would be specific. Grass fed is important to some people.

The weight of the 3 jar pack is 1.4 lbs., not 2.8 lbs. The taste isn't that great. I've had better ghee not listed as organic that tasted much better and was not contaminated by pesticides; just not certified organic.
