The impact sprinkler is sturdily made and solid. Seems like it should last a very long time, though it’s actually probably not the best use for my small permaculture food forest in a suburban landscape.I found I was able to adjust the distance the water sprayed by controlling the pressure at the faucet. I had to give it full power to get it to spin, but then was able to dial it back considerably to keep the spray in my yard.I have it hooked up to a 3/4” PVC pipe mounted on a garden fence post and it works perfectly. My disappointment with it is my own fault.When the description says 360 degree radius, it means just that: there’s no return spray. I like that feature in impact sprinklers—they go a certain distance or a full circle, the return quickly in the other direction before starting over again. I thought this one would do the same, but it does not. It just goes in a circle, which is fine, and it does that job perfectly, but was not what I was looking for.Otherwise a very good product for a very food price.

For the price these seem to be a good field sprinkler. They have good range with about a forty foot diameter, and seem to have consistent coverage. Now to see how well they hold up. We irrigate every week and I haven’t run them a full season yet so we will see.

Dislike that it had no deflector thumb screw, to break the straight stream into a fan, to shorten projection length..

This thing is built to last. Very large 36 foot radius throw on 45 psi, but has a second nozzle that covers the middle and short distance. Only turns 360, no part circles allowed, but does a great job.

This product is great for watering large areas not for small yards it is a 3/4 fitting and needs a specific base will NOT fit standard bases .

Used this for DIY sprinkler and glad I went with this type over plastic. I’ve had hard time finding good sprinkler from big box so decided to make my own. Reasonably priced and good quality. Have about 1/2 acre and this thing throws some water down. Not much adjustability which is only negative, but I was just looking for a standard impact sprinkler to cover some good ground so not huge issue for me. Solid construction, held up to some occasional drops from shelf. Love the classic metal sprinkler heads for that summer sound. Fits 3/4 NPT pvc. Attached to a ball valve at top to easily shut off when repositioning. Can’t speak to PSI reading from hose bibs but I’ve ran 100ft of hose without issue.

Impossible to use it unless you have an old base to mount it on. Seller doesn't even offer this as an option. The sprinkler arrived with one-day delivery, however, I needed to buy a mounting base for it but all other Amazon sellers offered really long delivery time (weeks, almost at the end of summer!).So I had no choice but to return the sprinkler.
