FEL-PRO HS 9076 PT-4 Engine Cylinder Head Gasket Set for Jeep Cherokee

Head gasket was leaking on 99 xj 0630 casting cylinder head. Gasket was leaking coolant into the oil near the lifters in cylinders 5 and 6. Head gaskets sealed a .003" cylinder head flatness 2k later still going strong (leak-free).Valve stem seals fit but the intake/exhaust manifold gasket needed modified on the exhaust ports to fit up with my hot end. Valve cover gasket included the bolt grommet seals which is nice. Throttle body gasket aligned up on the "equal length port" intake manifold. Did not remove my injectors but the new o rings appeared they'd fit the narrow base injector style. Thermostat housing gasket fit.If I had to do another head gasket job on a 4.0L of this era, I'd use this kit again. Also replaced the head bolts

The gaskets all fit very well...however I would not recommend using the intake/exhaust manifold gasket for any rebuild...the gasket did not provide enough of a seal when I put it back together...the dealership gasket is the appropiate one to use. Otherwise you will have a severe vacuum leak causing your engine to have high RPM.

It came with everything I needed except the bolts to replace the head gasket on my Grand Cherokee 4.0. No issues, everything fit right and seems like the usual great Fel-Pro quality I have come to expect.

I’ve used Fel-Pro gaskets before and think they’re great but the flimsy cardboard packaging on this set is a joke. Head gasket was entirely bent up. What’s worse is that you can’t return it once you open it - so it’s a gamble. The money you save on this set isn’t worth it since I now have to buy an entirely new head gasket at a local store.

Fit my XJ perfectly.. We had to replace the long block in a 2K XJ with one from a 99 WJ. If these stretched, I will post about it (shouldnt have in such a small time with proper torque)

I needed to replace a cracked cylinder head in my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport. This kit contained every gasket I needed to complete the job. I used the head gasket, the thermostat gasket, the manifold gasket, and the valve cover gasket. I did not have a problem with any of them, they fit perfectly and were in brand new condition. I would buy again!
