Nice for the money and for the safety I need on my slippery all-wood stairs. I picked these from among other treads on Amazon that either seemed too cheap or too expensive. I ordered carpet tape, but didn't use it since the rubber bottoms seem to grip well enough so far, and I didn't really want to tape on the wood surface. I gave one less star because they come folded and it will take time for the creases to relax; packing should be wrapped and flat, imho. Quality of carpet is good and true to color shown.

Recently my family got a dog for the first time in about 15 years and we started running into issues that we hadnt had in a while due to our new family member. One of the biggest issues for me was the wooden stairs to the 2nd floor of the house.Our golden could do just fine without them, but with her paws having fur and the wood being so slippery, it was only a matter of time before there was an accident. 3 weeks in she was so excited to run downstairs to say hi to someone she slid right off the top and rode down to the bottom. These were next day shipped that night, after hours of research. For what i found, this was the best for the price range. Its about the thickness of a bathroom mat as some had said. I did not tape them yet because i wanted to see how she did with them and so far no issues so i may not tape.Tl/dr; These are great for the price, i didnt tape them yet, and my year and half old goldador loves them very much. She was impressed from the first time she tested them and seems much more confident on the steps so we are all happy.As other reviewers stated, added bonus if you have had wood stairs for a long time: The carpet makes footsteps much quieter for any late night entries, etc.

The treads look nice and fit the stairs well. I needed these to keep a dog from slipping on the stairs. The treads try to stay in the general area, they just don’t stay lined up properly. So, you are continually straightening them. Given what the dog can do, I imagine a person could also move the tread if it is stepped on improperly. The dog can kick them off the stairs. I put a special two sided carpet tape on them to keep them from moving and that works fine. I would not use these for anyone with mobility issues. They look nice, just don’t live up to the non slip capability.

Nice look, not to plush, but army toddler said "comfortable" . Flattened out after two days in the steps. Doesn't slide much, will provide a secure step with no slippage, does have to be straightened periodically. 4 stars because it has to be exceptional in my mind for 5 stars, disappointed that the matching rug is not available. Just put in New steps and these are great to put down, provide slip resistance without adhesive, after 8 coats of firsthand i didn't want to mess with the finish.

It works good for my pet joints, less stress on her knees when going up and down.

We were actually surprised at the quality of these. We thought we'd end up having to buy something custom made. We had also planned to have to staple these onto our oak stair treads, but they are staying in place very well. We've had them two months and are very pleased. They are thicker than we expected and appear they will hold up well.

These treads are not very soft underfoot, but that is okay. I needed them to help my dog from slipping on the stairs. We attached them with double stick carpet tape and so far so good.
