This robot does a lot of things that keeps my boys preoccupied. My 7 year old was attached to it for about 2 days, but lost interest after that. Normally, he stops playing with a new toy, 5 minutes after playing with it, or sometimes not at all. lol. My 5 year old and 2 year old, though they weren't the original recipients, would take it out every so often and play with it.The robot does whatever it says in the description--- you can control it's movements using the rc, you can control by waving your hands, it plays music, dances, and recites information it programmed with. It's a pretty decent toy if you have a child into robots. My kids weren't but thought of introducing them to it. :)

I bought it for a 5 years old boy for his birthday more than a week ago. Right in the party he was playing with it and showing it to his friends. He loves his robot and even sleeps with it and not with a teddy bear.Until now it is functioning well and looks very sturdy and well designed. the size is really good for kids that age. I am recomending this robot to everyone....and it is not a "violent one", just sings and dance, no guns, nothing to affect the children's mind.

Kids (7 and 5) have enjoyed playing with the robot and it seems to be well made and a good value. We found the instruction manual kind of difficult to completely understand.

This was a great buy, like others I'm not sure how long it will last a 6 yr old boy but he LOVES it. For the money it was a great toy. Packaged well, did everything and more than expected. Super gift for any child that loves robots and remote controls.

The media could not be loaded. This is probably one of the most interesting purchases I have made on Amazon, and I'm not sure why it's rated as high as it is.Pros:-motion sensors allow it to take movement directions with hand movement.-It is pretty easy to use the remote to make it move also.-It plays music and dances.Cons:-The things it says under the science and good habits feature are a little weird. See my photos to read what it says.-The songs are for very little kids, and they are not all correct. I am still not sure what the robot is saying durring the Old McDonald song. See my attached video to preview that.-It is a little difficult to program for a younger kid.-The buttons on the remote can be finicky and you can't transition from one command to another as seamlessly as one would want.Notes: The remote and programing feature along with it's vocabulary are more for older kids, but it's music and songs are for much younger children. It also has an accent.I want to add that the seller is more than willing to provide a refund or exchange if you are unhappy with your purchase due to a defect like the song in my video. I commend them on their willingness to keep their customers happy; however, I still feel like this is only worth three stars due to all the other things stated.

This was a present for a five and a half year old. At six and a half it's still working but like all toys the gloss has worn off. Still it was a good deal for a "gotta have a robot" request, and I'd say more used-per-dollar than many other toys. would buy again -- satisfies the need and not so expensive you regret that the "wow" did not last very long.

The media could not be loaded. My 3 year old asked for a robot for Christmas and I found this one. It's so perfect for him because this robot sings nursery rhymes. It dances, has so many educational facts, moves with a remote control or hand gestures. It charges using a USB so no batteries! Love it.. Would absolutely recommend

I purchased this robot for my 5 year old grandson who is obsessed with robots and transformers. I have nothing but praise for this toy. It is well made and was fully charged when opened. He is in love with it! It does everything promised. I highly recommend this toy. It is well suited for children much older also.
