I hike along the parkway weekly and keep this book in my car. It gives a tidbit about every mile marker and goes into detail about hiking trails including gps coordinates. I've been able to find lots of little trails I wouldn't have otherwise known about. It gives nice detail about where to park, walk, turn, look out for,etc.My only issue is there is no information on any of the mountains to sea trails other than their gps locations and trailheads.

This book is an absolute must have if you're traveling the BRP. I took about a week to drive the full length of the parkway last spring. Each day I hiked at least 10 miles almost entirely on trails detailed in this book. I also used it to find several campgrounds or areas with dispersed camping along the way. Even if you're just traveling along it for a short time, it has loads of useful and interesting information which is easy to follow as it's organized by mile marker.

Bought as a gift, I looked over book, very informative but would be great if there were accompanying pictures.

I took a trip down the parkway and used this book as my bible. There is quite a bit of information about things off of the parkway as well as on. With such a long road, it's very hard to research what all to do. This book does it for you. Must have for anyone traveling the parkway.

This is a very comprehensive guidebook with step by step directions on trails and the BRH. I haven't done any hikes yet, but this book allows me to plan some (hopefully) great trips in the spring and summer. I especially like the facts that the author highlights those hikes that he especially recommends. I am very pleased with this publication.

Very detailed and has lots of maps but I wish there was a little more history and a larger map of different sections of the BRP

Great resource with detailed information. I'm using it to plan a bicycle ride on the BRP with frequent stops to explore the many areas accessible by it. I have been pleasantly surprised at many of the features that I would have otherwise probably passed by unnoticed.

Love this book. Incredibly detailed. Book points out every overlook and hike that you encounter on the Parkway.
