Good germination rate. I did apply a nitrogen-based fertilizer at the time of planting and I had sprouts within about 5 days or so. I've continued to apply the fertilizer once a week. After two weeks, I've got really good growth and the pumpkin vines are starting to appear and extend. I'm hoping we have a long growing season, because I was a bit late getting these planted. However, they are growing really fast and seem healthy. I will update if anything changes for the worse!

My first time growing pumpkins. I planted 50 seeds directly in the ground (still had 20 seeds left over) on May 7.All plants survived some kind of mildew around June 1, and a late frost on June 6. Size varies greatly based on soil temp and fertility.First flowers appeared on June 24 on largest plants. I plan on selling the surplus in a local farmer's market, but this was mainly a weed control project. Weed infested topsoil was piled up into hills about 2 feet high the previous fall and lightly tilled this spring. The higher the hill the better the frost protection and faster growth. These plants are turning into real monsters that will choke out any competition.

I ordered these August 1, 2016 for a fall planting in Texas. These are the only seeds I planted and they came up looking like squash or gourds. I contacted the company and they said they do not currently sell a gourd seed. Somehow my two seeds that I planted were gourds or maybe Butternut squash. I don't know what the remainder of the seeds are in this package. But I'd sure like to have the Sugar Pumpkin that I ordered for planting next year.

Planted these, didnt really know what to expect because my thumb is far from green...Had sprouts within a couple of weeks and by the time i transplanted them I had to cut them out of the seedling containers because they had grown so big and fast. So far these have been the best seeds I have bought. I planted 18 and got 12 seedlings. There likely would have been more but one container got knocked over and had some seed/mulch loss plus we had a battle with birds this year thinking my seedling trays were a buffet. Overall would buy from this seller again and again. Good price and good viability.

0 percent germination rate! What a waste of money, buy these at your local garden center instead. Not sure how long these sat in a warehouse, but none of them popped, and they were germinated properly.

I'll know at the end of the season how they harvest, but initially not all of the seeds germinated for me. I'm glad there was the extra package.

I looooved these pumpkins. Super easy to grow with hardy vines. They were so cute the entire time that they grew. All of these pumpkins were produced from the same vine!

Every seed planted has come up quickly and strong. Will definitely buy again.
