TOMS Women's, Paxton Sneaker

I so wanted these to fit!! I gave the shoe 3 stars because in so many ways they were perfect. I like the cut, the design, the color--everything. The only problem I had is with what I guess is the height of my foot. I never thought of myself having high arches, and this has never really been a problem for me in the past, but wow these shoes made it an issue. I had trouble getting the shoe on my foot, first off, because the diagonal from the bottom/back of my heel to the inside/front of my ankle is apparently a bit wide and wouldn't fit through the shoe's opening. When I finally got the shoe on, the top of the shoe was pressing down so hard on the top of my foot it was really painful. I've had a few pairs of Tom's shoes before and never had this problem, but maybe the material of this shoe is less stretchy or there is less space. Whatever it is, this shoe did not remotely work for me. I would say, then, give the shoe a try unless you already know you have high arches.

I was looking for a good pair of slip on shoes for slushy Chicagoland winters. These are perfect. They're warm and sturdy, but not heavy. Like all TOMS, I find that they run small, so I ordered a half size up (normally an 8, ordered an 8.5), and they're perfect even with thick wool socks. They're cute with skinny jeans, while more importantly standing up to the elements.

Love I am a lover of Toms so when I saw these, that they were lined, water resistant. Snatched these right up. I wore them ALL DAY. I had them on easily 12 hours -14 hours and so great and a lot of that time was outside in the cold. Your feel stay warmer. These are comfortable. Easy on and off and they fir snug. I can't say if they will hold that way. I have had my other toms for years and have no issues. I will now be looking at the faux fur lined ones. These are fleece lined. I would highly recommend.

Ordered these as something stylish and easy to slip on. I am extremely pregnant and often have to rely on my husband to help me get my shoes on/ off and laces tied if I’m wearing sneakers. In addition, I was experiencing excruciating foot pain. I have very high arches. Although these shoes do not offer ANY arch support with their flat insert, I chose them anyway. I researched and purchased a different arch supporting insole to replace the ones that come in these shoes. I sized up a bit from an 8.5 to a 9. The original insole was easy to pull out and replace. I realized at the end of my first day wearing them, that I didn’t have the foot pain I usually do. (Attributed to the new insoles) 4 stars for these shoes! Very versatile, nice quality, like the detail on the back, easy to get on and off .. I deducted one star for the lack of quality / support in their original insole.

I love these shoes, soooo comfy, I work on my feet all day and my feet feel great. On Thanksgiving I was trying to capture the perfect picture of my kids on a log in the river, I was carrying my 5 year old over, slipped on a rock and went completely under. (It was pretty shallow don't worry) my shoes went under but my feet and socks were still dry! Sold. Also they dried up and the mud brushed right off and they almost look good as new! Perfect.

I LOVE these shoes. I love them so much I got them in a second color. They've become an every day staple of my wardrobe. They're very comfortable and the perfect fit for my wide feet. I usually wear a size 8, but ordered 7.5. There is no arch support in these, but that's fine as I didn't expect that there would be. I've gotten a lot if compliments on them, and my coworkers have even noticed that these are all I've been wearing recently. I can't say enough good things about these shoes

I think the product description was extremely misleading. this shoe is very narrow and the fur makes it even more difficult to fit. It is my mistake for waiting so long to try them on. but my other toms were always good. Does anyone want a good deal on a pair of 8.5 Grey?

I put these on and they fit just perfect (I wear a solid women's USA size 11).there is no need to "break them in". they fit like a pair of shoes that I have forever and I like the look of them with my skinny jeans. I did use a water protective spray on them since I live in Oregon and they are suede, I think they will hold up because of the quality. If you need some kind of support that you could use an insert otherwise there is no arch support.

I have 6 or 7 pairs of sketcher sneakers and boots so I was surprised when my size 7 bootie was tight in the toe area.Had to send them back and get a 7 1/2. when they arrived the fit was close to all my other size 7 sneakers and boots . Love the booties. this particular bootie is narrow from the ball of the foot to toe area.

I really wanted a pair of these shoes they look great, but have absolutely no support and walking in them is very uncomfortable.
