Bose796145-4100 500 Bass Module

I recently treated myself to the Bose smart 600 soundbar for my Samsung tv. Absolutely fabulous but lacking slightly in bass for music & special effects in movies. Then the sub woofer arrives & now i feel sorry for my neighbours on movie nights . Very easy to set up i just plugged it in & it more or less set itself up on my network. You use the Bose music app to add it to your other gadgets and wow, the sounds is magnificent. It produces some chest thumping bass. I winced abit at the price but the quality is well worth it. Fabulous

I have a Bose TV speaker. It does have a decent amount of bass on its own but I wanted a bit more immersion when watching movies. I bought this in the Black Friday sales and I’m glad I did.Plugged it straight into the speaker (I already had the Bose cable) and to the power. It came straight on into standby and when I turned the TV on which the fired up the TV Speaker it came on with it so no setup required.I started up a movie (new avatar then followed up by blade runner 2049) and the bass was awesome. It has really added that immersion into movies.I have it setup behind the TV so it’s out the way and it’s the perfect place for it.I am in a detached house so don’t need to worry about neighbours but if you do have neighbours close by then be warned, it is loud!

I have the Bose Ultra Soundbar which in its own has pretty good Bass but just lacks that thump in your chestimpact so I decided to get the Bass module 500.I wanted a neat package for my living room as space is limited and the overall dimensions of this model fits the bill.It is a very easy install accessory for the Soundbar just as long as you are running the Bose app.I cannot say that I enjoy using the app and am a bit old school preferring physical button pressing on something tangible like a remote but concede that everything has to have an app these days.I have chosen a wireless connection and it hasn't underperformed once.The sound quality of this little unit is just what was needed to complete the set up and I for one am really pleased with the results.

I bought the ultra sound bar which sounds great on its own, but coupled to the 500 bass module it’s a whole new level of detail.I really wanted the 700 bass module, but didn’t have the space available where I wanted it to go, so took the risk (and 30 day no quibble return) and opted for the 500 bass module.I’m not disappointed, this thing is awesome, the whole house rocks.Despite is smaller size, it really packs a punch.It’s quite expensive for what it is, so you’ve got to be committed and really want it.I really deliberated for a few weeks, should I or shouldn’t I.I’m glad I did.

Added the 500 sub to my Bose 300 what a difference all sound adjustments controlled by the app highly recommended better base sound than expected overall sound massive improvement

I have had the Soundbar (500) for a while. When I first got it, I played around with the Bose app and found the bass adjuster and thought that increasing that did a good enough job to not need the sub. So up comes my birthday and I get some cash and decide what the heck, let’s get it (big Bose fan). Well, what a difference it makes, stunning unit I am so glad I got it! In my case I have turned the bass down on the soundbar unit so now speech is clearer, but the sub packs the punch.I stream music from my iPhone through the setup and it is stunningly good.I see some comments with some people not knowing it was on - I had to turn the system off then on again after pairing in the Bose app, so I can only assume that’s what happened there unless defective units. There’s no way you wouldn’t hear the difference, especially when you start cranking up the bass level in app; it can thunder.My only whinge is that I have other Bose products which use a different Bose app... I wish they bundled them all into one.It’s well worth it, would thoroughly recommend!

I bought this to go with my 500 Soundbar. I always wanted one.Upon 1st installation, I pumped up the volume and felt somewhat disappointed at the bass response. Maybe my expectations were different to what I got.I started to wonder if I should have got the next model up to start with.However, if you look beyond the pure thud of bass, this Subwoofer really does deliver some amazing additions to your TV and Music experience. It's like my Soundbar is now working as it should. In fact, I have actually turned the bass down to about 50% as this works with my setup.It might be that the speaker within the Sub has loosened up, or I just enjoy it more.Connection was simple and haven't really used the app since I set it up.I'd thoroughly recommend this addition to your Bose 500 Soundbar if you have one, just bear with it and enjoy the experience.
