Great fountain pen
I love the grip. It is also slightly heavier than my previous fountain pen but this adds to the pleasure of holding it. I would have preferred a finer writing - something between fine and medium to be honest - but this is a great buy, highly recommended!

Great Parker quality
Parker pens have long been a favourite of mine, and they offer great value for money. The Urban is one of their mid range offerings and it really feels and writes like a pen costing much more. The Premium green version which I own has a nice weight to it with a reassuring click to close the cap, so there's no worry of it coming off in your bag. It feels great in the hand (I don't bother posting the cap, but it can be posted if you wish) and writes smoothly even on cheap printer paper. I'm not a massive fan of Parker inks to be honest and in this pen it writes slightly drier than I'd like, but something like a Diamine ink solves this problem. If you shop around you can pick one of these up for under £20 which is a bargain in my opinion.

Cartridge Pen not Fountain Pen
Lovely pen but description states it's a fountain pen - it is a cartridge pen, there is no ink fountain in it, just a space for the cartridge (which is provided) to go. Still, it is a great pen and good value for the money,

A wonderful pen and fantastic value for money.
An excellent pen - performs as well as any in a higher price bracket.

Great price, love the colour.
I will add a note of warning... The pen clip pierced a hole into my jacket lining, twice! Even though I was trying to be careful, I still managed to make a hole in my jacket lining. More a Parker issue than a supplier issue.

Great nib but can have hard starts.
I already had 5 of the new Parker Urban model pens when I purchased this one. They are great writers in my opinion. I find the medium nib on it far more pleasurable to write with than my Lamy or Diplomat mediums.4/5The reason I don't love the pen overall is that ink tends to seen into and dry up in the feed and hard starts can become apparent after only 2 days with some inks (in my case, darker ones).Inks I've had hard starts with:Pelikan Edelstein: BlackVisconti: GreenDiamine: GreyHowever, this can easily be rectified by dipping the nib in water for <2 seconds and wiping with tissue but, It's not something I expect from a pen in this price range. It is perfectly livable for me as these pens stay on my desk.It also seems avoidable by using the pen every day.If the nib wasn't as amazing as I believe it to be then I would have given this 2/3 stars and I wouldn't own 5 of them.
