I was skeptical regarding this purchase and was confused between JBL Flip 2 and UE Roll.You won't regret buying this. • Great bass for such a small speaker • Is loud enough to fill up a party of 5-6 people • Is waterproof, and works perfectly fine even after taking a dip in the swimming pool (in fact also works when it's inside the water) • The battery lasts easily for 10-11 hours at normal listening volumes • The paracord attached is also a unique feature, it helps to fasten the speaker anywhere needed

Good base and clarity on the audio quality. Get too loud at full volume yet not much loss in audio quality was observed at 100% volume. Visually appealing speaker, the shape and fabric material makes it cute and harmless without any sharp edges. Multiple device connectivity makes it so user friendly and the handover is seemingly smooth. With 100% charge the speakers functioned 10 hours plus with 50% volume. One drawback is that as the product is made of fabric material it gets dusty.Overall an awesome product. Loving it!

Disclaimer: Got this for 3.5K on prime day.For it's size it has surprisingly large amount of bass. It gets pretty loud too but just starts to distort a little if you really push it. Connecting to Bluetooth is a breeze on Android devices even though it explicitly mentions just Apple support on the box.Would I pay full price for this? No. 5K? Yup. So if you get this for a discount then go for it.

Perfect bluetooth for ur home and your travel companion. The highs and lows are so deep and enough amount of bass. I am really fascinated about how they have given that design and ip67 protection at the same time.

After researching a lot, comparing JBL and UE Roll... I bought this.And I am writing the review after using it for 5 months. I am very happy using it as it suffice all your expectations and requirements. Loud voice maintaining its sound quality..Very handy, shock proof , water proof..Go for it

Now after 2 months of usage, am noticing several flaws1. Smart on/off and pairing issues2. Have to reset quiet often3. One track plays, but next track - no sound from speaker, but the media player in phone keeps playing. If paused and played the sound starts. If not the third track will play with sound. Don't know what logic is it.4. Bluetooth device does not get listed in the list in phone, but will get connected.5. No low battery announcement, unless it dies.Serious software bugs, but hardware is excellent.Unconventional lifestyle product. Being an outdoor guy it was an Instant connection especially with elastic cord and water proof features. Being Small and sleek it is easy to backpack. Chota package crisp sound. Stick to earphones if you need good bass. Hang it anywhere and just listen. No controls other than volume, but suits me, since I wanted a remotely placed speaker. Smart on-off, on UE app is simply a boon to my requirement. Alarm and DJ is also a good feature. Using with both my pc and phone, few glitches with pc playback though. Happy with the buy at 3700rs. Charging with my MI charger, so it charges faster.

Let me start by saying, this is not a "Vine" review. I'm reviewing a product I bought and paid for. This is a bit critical, but some of the Vine reviews seem to be written by people with little or no experience with Bluetooth speakers. I'm no expert, but I own and have used Oontz Angle, Oontz Angle Plus, Braven 570, a couple of Altec Lansings and a Bose. I also own the 3 Vizios; the 5.1 sound bar, the 38" 2.1 soundbar, and the tv sound stand.I can not tell you just how blown away I am by the sound quality, ease of use, and innovative design of this little wonder. Sound quality blows away by far any of the other portable units I've used (or heard) and is almost (not quite) on par with the sound stand (but damn close, minus the stereo).4 button control. just 4. Power and bluetooth on the back, hugs volume + and - on the front.Setup:1) Open the waterproof cover on the back, and connect a micro usb to charge. full charge took less than an hour on a 2a charger.2) Press the bluetooth button and pair it to your device (remembers up 2 8 devices.)3) Do to the appropriate app store and search and download the UE Roll app.4) Play something, and adjust your device and speaker volumes to your liking.The App:I thought an app for a speaker was a bit gimmicky, and you definitely can live without it, BUT it's actually very useful. You get a 5 band equalizer (that actually works!), the ability to control volume, and power, pair 2 UE speakers for stereo or dual sound (haven't tried it yet), and checks the speaker for the latest firmware. This to me is huge, as UE adds features and improvements. The product page explains more.The contentious Bungee Cord:Another gimmick I thought, until I started thinking about uses for it. Use it to attach the speaker to a shower rod, a bicycle handlebar, a belt loop, a backpack strap, a well placed nail on the wall or a picture frame hanger or a well placed 3M Hang-Ups (for those complaining about no stand.) Right now it is laying flat on my desk and the 360 sound is superb.BlueTooth Range: I clocked it to over 50 ft, YMMVBattery Life. After 6 hours of music at medium volume the nice lady told me I had "Twenty Percent Charge"Waterproof: Yup. And washable in warm soapy water. No issue with sand or mud.Quick tips:Press the + and - at the same time, and a female voice tells you the amount of charge in 10% increments. No bars or lights, Nice touchMulti Host; allows two different devices to pair to the speaker at the same time; stop the music on one device and let your partner play that favorite song from his device. Cool.Alarm: leave your favorite music app open (Spotify, Tune-In Radio) and set the alarm to "last song played." nice touchHitting the FAQ button on the app opens the browser on your device to answer just about any other question you might have.TL/DR:I'm blown away. Great product. Excellent and Fast service

Excellent speaker! Creates a lot of noise and even sounds great on full volume. I would recommend this item to anyone interested in a high quality, compact, portable speaker. I've convinced many of my friends to purchase this speaker and they all love it.The only problem I have had thus far - is that the UE Roll App will not load on the 6th gen Apple IPOD Touch. I've tried to download the app over 50 times and it will not load properly. The app has loaded on all of my other devices and works fine with all of them. The 5th gen IPOD Touch loads the app with no problems - it seems to be the 6th gen which needs some work.Overall a super great product though - Definitely 5 stars!!!

I recently purchased the UE ROLL for my dorm room, and I can say I am quite pleased with the sound it delivers. The bungee that is attached to the speaker makes it easy to hang the speaker on a hook, bedpost, handle, backpack, ect. The battery life is incredible and I was able to get two hours or so out of it without the battery dipping below 75%. For a speaker about half the size of an average dinner plate, it is easy to carry anywhere.With access to the free app UE ROLL, viewing the battery life, changing the EQ, customizing an alarm and even pairing your device to TWO speakers makes it simple for anyone to utilize the many features the UE ROLL has to offer. With such a phenomenal speaker, there are a few things to note before buying it.The first is that if you're considering getting this speaker for say a large outdoor party or even a house party, I would consider getting either two of these speakers or the UE Boom, as it delivers a louder sound. For a more intimate setting, this speaker is perfect, but can't meet the needs of a larger space.The second thing to consider isn't a very big thing, but still something to consider. The back of the UE ROLL contains a rubber flap that conceals the charger as well as a place for an aux cord. When you go to charge the UE ROLL, this flap becomes slightly bent and can be hard to put back into place. While this isn't so much of a technical thing, it is a tad annoying having the flap come open every now and again.Another topic of discussion is the lack of control on the speaker itself. If you have your phone say on the bed or you have the speaker in the shower, there is no way to skip, pause. or go back a song via the speaker. The only thing you can control on the speaker is the volume. All other functions are controlled directly from your phone/ computer/ tablet ect. This can be annoying if your device is not directly accessible.Looking at the UE ROLL, it is an innovative speaker perfect for sound on the go or a night in. It delivers beautiful sound quality with a rich bass. While it is not the most ideal for larger settings, it delivers quite a punch for such a small speaker.
