Great Deep Concealment Holster
All too often holsters that are designated for concealed carry, are anything but concealed if you want to wear just a t-shirt, or anything other than a button-up shirt that will drape over the gun. Sometimes people get too worried, unnecessarily so as Mark Rogers points out, about "printing" or having your concealed weapon actually show through what you're wearing. If you are well and truly worried, or wearing a shirt that won't adequately allow you to conceal your weapon, I would suggest looking into an ankle holster. When wearing pants, ankle holsters offer the single most concealable way to carry your handgun. I recently obtained a Fobus Ankle Holster to try out and carry my Glock 26 about town. I have to say, the results were promising. The Fobus Ankle Holster is a great little rig to wear when carrying your handgun while wearing pants. Living in Georgia, this is a bit impractical most of the summer months, but I endured a few days of this gather data so that I could offer up a fair and unbiased opinion.I can, admittedly, obsess about printing on occasion. This rig gives me a great way to have peace of mind while carrying and still know that my trusty G26 is within arms reach at all times. My primary complaint, and this may be due to operator error, is that it has a tendency to slide down your ankle unless you do not fasten it uncomfortably tight. I tend not to wear socks unless I'm wearing sneakers or dress shoes, so I thought that the holster may have needed a sock to grip on to. This wasn't the case either. I wore a pair of athletic socks and strapped the holster on top. The sliding issue became even worse. I have yet to try this holster with dress socks, but my gut tells me that the issue will remain. With no socks and a tight grip, this holster stays in place under regular walking and climbing / descending stairs. When first wearing this holster it takes a few steps to get used to the added weight. You may look like you're walking with a bit of a limp or a hitch in your step. Once you get used to the weight, you can manage a pretty easy pace without the weapon slipping or sliding down your leg. One of my primary concerns when the holster did begin to slide was that it would expose itself when I sat down. Constant resetting of the holster was required to alleviate this fear.Once I got the holster situated, I practiced drawing from the holster a few times (with the weapon unloaded) to get a feel for how the weapon will come out of the holster. I recommend this practice to anyone who is breaking in a new holster. It will help familiarize you with how to draw your weapon from your holster so that you're not fumbling when you actually need to draw. Drawing the weapon out of the holster requires a significant "tug" of the weapon. The passive retention system on the holster gets a good grip of the weapon and does not want to let go. Any attempts to draw without using significant force to draw the weapon will result in a weapon retained in the holster. I don't know if this will decrease with time, but I will update this review after six months to see if the situation is resolved.Overall, this holster is good for anyone who is looking for the gold standard in concealment. I wouldn't recommend this for anything larger than a compact Glock. I think that anything bigger than a compact (G19, G23, etc) will show and be difficult to raise your pants over so that you can draw. This holster is not my favorite right now, but I am going to keep carrying it in a hope that it will evolve into my favorite every-day-carry holster.

Comfortable
Suede lining makes the holster comfortable to wear, although in order to feel like the holster (with weapon inserted) is secure one MUST keep it strapped tight.Good fit for the Glock 26 overall, but break-in period is needed as with all Fobus holster that I have owned. The good thing about a Fobus holster is that the more "broken-in" the product becomes it still effectively secures the weapon.Would have given it 5 stars, if it was not as bulky. Plan on wearing baggy/wide legged trousers/jeans to better conceal your carry.

Yes, I actually love this thing!
Yes, it does take some getting used to, but, once you do, you actually forget you have it on.Yes, it is not the quickest draw (unless your open-carrying your holster, neither is any other method... this is where practice comes into play. For mine, I actually wrapped it around a smaller pipe (neary the size of my akle) and let mold to a more circular shape... no issues for me.As a suggestion, where it with socks that won't fall, as that could cause friction... dress and tight athletic socks are perfect!p.s. unless you have it on you, your not actually CCW... with this holster, you rarely have an excuse not to have it on you.

Very comfortable!
My only drawback to this holster is break in. Good lord! It was a VERY tight fit with my Glock 26. I'd really recommend breaking in this holster before carrying it.....there was no way in HECK I'd be able to pull out my 26 if I needed to in a hurry. But, the comfort on my leg is beyond comfortable. I don't know it's there usually, aside from the weight of the gun, which is diminished due to the way it wraps around the ankle. On colder days when I'm wearing pants I almost always grab this holster and wear my Glock comfortable all throughout the day. I recommend this product to anyone that wants to conceal at the ankle.

The holster is nice and easy to use
The holster is nice and easy to use. The break in period should be a little longer though. During the break-in period it rides on your ankle that makes it a bit uncomfortable. Wear it tight so it won't move around.

The fit is nice and tight
Due to the width of the G26, I thought that ankle carry might be the way to go. The fit is nice and tight, but not too tight where you can't release the gun. However, the strap tends to slip down as you move around. Sometimes I am able to get it to stay put if I pull the strap tight enough, but it's not ideal.

Good fit and finish.
Good fit to weapon. Needs longer strap to wear around boots. Only other complaint is it sticks out too much.
