Kangaro 2030 Heavy Duty 3 hole Punch

I purchased this for Rs. 439/- a while ago and the price did hurt. However, Amazon was the only place I could get it. I couldn't find it anywhere in nearby markets.Price aside, let's talk about the product. It's great! It works well. It's sturdy. The distance between the holes is about 10.5 cm. You get three holes at equal distances and that fit into a standard 3-D ring binder. Additionally what I loved the most about this punching machine is that it comes with a small paper size marker that you can fit on the bottom of the punch machine on either side. All you have to do is pull it out up to the A4 mark and then fit your A4 size sheet such that one edge of the paper will align itself with this plastic marker. (I've attached an image with this review showing the same.) This way, all the three holes are at an equal distance and perfectly aligned on all your A4 sheets.Often when you have a huge stack of unruled sheets to punch, you end up putting holes at different places on the sheets and so, when you put them in a ring binder, all the pages don't align well. Some are sticking upwards and some downwards while only a few are sitting in the middle as they are supposed to. The plastic marker that comes with this punch hole machine rids you of that issue. No matter how many times you punch A4 sized sheets, the marker will help you punch holes at the right place so your pages all stack up nicely in your ring binder - as you can see in the image I've attached with this review.The one flaw I did find with this punching machine is that they have given two a place to put the plastic marker on either side at the bottom of the machine. The punched paper that gets collected at the bottom sometimes escapes the side that is not holding the plastic marker. I am not sure if there are supposed to be two plastic markers per machine and I've received only one. But, if there is supposed to be only one plastic marker, then it's possible that the small circles of paper might keep falling out of the machine.Hope this review helps other people. The product description put up by the seller is really no use. There's so much information missing.

Nothing to dislike

Quality is good but on my first glance i felt sad about plastic bands that are being used to fasten punch.. Earlier Kangaroo used to give a plastic part attachment for that purpose & it really had helped and was very convenient and good for keeping punch in cupboard. It saved space and we could have stacked things over it. Now these plastic strings are very bad, annoying and customer unfriendly strategy of cost cutting.. Hate this

surprised that such a simple this cost me this much.but considering i could not get a three hole punch any where near me it was worth it.
